The Ex-List has it's head on the chopping block this week as CBS pulls it from it's Friday night time slot. It's not officially canceled yet but rumor is, it's just a matter of time. My opinion, I'm bummed. I liked the show, alot actually. And believe it or not, so did the the boy in my life. It's witty, charming, funny and the plot is more interesting that I suspected it would be. It's not the show I just can't wait to watch every week, but I definitely Tivo'd it every Friday.
The ratings were miserable in comparison to CBS's solid line-up but to be fair, it felt a little mismatched next to Ghost Whisperer and NUMB3RS. A different time slot might have had it fair better with viewers, but considering the early drama (Dianne Ruggiero left the project after 6 episodes due to "creative differences"), I have a feeling CBS was gunning to get rid of it anyhow.
So here's to the 3rd casualty this fall after Fox's Do Not Disturb and ABC's Opportunity Knocks. What show do you think is the next to go?
