After 13 long seasons on the air, Fox is giving the boot to the animated series King of the Hill. The show has had brushes with TV death in the past but now it's official. Fox isn't the only one who's moved on which may have had more to do with the decision not to renew. Creators Greg Daniels and Mike Judge have joined other projects in recent years. Daniels with The Office and Judge has a new animated series in the works called The Goode Family.
Don't worry though, Fox has plenty of new animated shows under it's belt. Sit Down, Shut Up by Mitch Hurwitz and The Cleveland Show which is a Family Guy spinoff.
I actually enjoyed King of the Hill believe it or not. Maybe it's because I grew up in the Beavis and Butthead days. However, although I'm bummed to see it go, I think it's definitley time.
