CBS Snags 'The Mentalist' for A Whole Season

the_mentalistThe new hit series The Mentalist has been picked up for a full season at CBS. 

The series has averaged 16.14 million viewers which ranks it at number 7 in the prime time listings. It took second place last Tuesday to NCIS with 14 million viewers.

The series stars Golden Globe Award nominee Simon Baker (Patrick Jane), an independent consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation who uses his observational skills to solve crimes.

I personally love this show.  If you haven't given it a try yet, I highly suggest you do.  At the very least you get to watch Simon for an hour.  Okay, and Robin Tunney if she's more your speed. (Who is surprisingly good by the way.)
