- Mehcad Brooks, Todd Lowe, Deborah Ann Woll and Michelle Forbes are all guests on HBO's latest drama True Blood and now they've been stepped up to regulars. They will all reappear in this seasons finale and you'll begin to see them regularly during season 2. Brooks' (Desperate Housewives) first appearance will be on the season closer as Benedict "Eggs" Talley, a musician with a tough life. Lowe (Gilmore Girls) is set to play Terry who was introduced in episode 2, Woll as Jessica and Forbes (In Treatment) as Maryann. source
- Salma Hayek is working on her latest project with Fox called "The New McToms". The new comedy will focus on "a conservative matriarch who must face the reality of her three children marrying ethnically diverse spouses." Maybe this will be the filler for the soon to be open 9 oclock slot? Hayek is really keeping herself busy as she's also working on a wedding themed reality show. source
- Buffy's back! Okay, not really Buffy but Sarah Michelle Gellar is planning a return to television and this time for a project on HBO. It's a new 30 minute show called "The Wonderful Maladys" about 3 siblings living in New York after their parents have passed away. Charles Randolph (The Interpreter) said he wrote the script with Gellar specifically in mind, saying the character is "a kind of zealous immaturity -- like a drug addict with a to-do list." source
