Judging from the previous 6 seasons, these final acts will be some of the best television we will see for some time. The writing, direction and acting are Emmy worthy in every episode. There's no way creator Shawn Ryan and the rest of The Shield crew will take the easy way out. Don't expect Vic, Shane and Ronnie to be sitting in a diner as the screen fades to black. Not a chance! What are we, a bunch of turkeys?
The weaknesses and strengths of all the characters on this show are what keep me on the edge of my seat. Can Vic stay one step ahead of the cops in the barn and the gangbangers on the street? Only one way to find out, tune in Tuesdays at 10pm on FX and enjoy the final season of a great television series.

Omg, I can't WAIT for this season to start! I love Vic!
Love the Soprano's snark!
I'm really torn, I can't wait for the new season... it's been forEVER since it was on. But I dread it ending.
I wish I had rewatched the last couple of episodes, though I'm sure they will start with a "previously on", I'm a little lost as to where it stopped.
I am pleased (just to contradict myself) that Ryan, et al, have chosen when to end it. It's a show of a certain vision, a complete story to tell. I hate it when hits drag on and on just because they can and lose the power the story has if the beginning/middle/end are planned.
I forgot to mention, thanks for the clip! It will keep me going until premier time.
