Project Runway's latest guest judge isn't messing around...you know, cause they're a real judge...of the law n stuff.
NBC recently took legal action against Weinstein Co. for taking Project Runway to Lifetime outside of their contracts guide lines. The judge actually agreed with the claim that Weinstein and CO. violated their right of first refusal and is preventing the woman's network from airing the show.
A rep from NBC Universal says, "After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting The Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spin-off to Lifetime.''
Production has already been under way (with Lindsay Lohan as the first guest judge of season 6) and they were planning to air in January. According to Weinstein Co, production will still continue while they wait for their next court date in November.
