4 cups flour
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Beat the butter, sugar, egg, sour cream and vanilla until
smooth. Gradually add: flour, powder, soda and nutmeg. Beat until well combined. Refrigerate until chilled through.
Bake at 375 8-10 minutes
Mama always made these at Christmas and my brother and sister and
I would smear frosting on the cookies and ourselves (mostly ourselves)
