2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
12 large marshmallows
dash of salt
1 6 oz. pkg. cherry chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. salted peanuts, ground
(I'm not sure of the size--maybe 10-12 oz.?)
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Cook sugar, milk, butter, marshmallows,
and salt over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add
cherry chips and vanilla, stirring until chips are melted. Pour into prepared pan. Melt chocolate chips and peanut
butter in double boiler or microwave. When melted, stir in ground peanuts. Pour over cherry mixture and chill.
Cut into squares and store in the refrigerator.
Yield: about 9 dozen
