SOUTH PARK - BIGGER, LONGER, AND UNCUT
Directed by Trey Parker
Screenplay by Trey Parker & Matt Stone and Pam Brady
Starring Trey Parker, Matt Stone,
Mary Kay Bergman and Isaac Hayes as "Chef"
My advice: This movie sucks
Rating: GETS A LEMON AWARD! LOT'S
OF LEMONS!
IN FACT, IT GET'S A LEMONADE AWARD!
Bigger. Longer. Uncut. Unappealing. Unbelievable. Inadvisable.
It's been my opinion that many a critic found this film about a gaggle of reprehensible spewing toon-lets horribly
amusing. This critic found it just plain horrible. It's somewhat akin to giving "Joe the Camel" his own
cigarette commercials and allowing him to cuss like a longshoreman all the way through. Now give him some ethnic
folks to spout racial slurs at and you have South Park.
I'm not understanding the hype here. Maybe it's just me but even if you are making fun of "everybody"
I still don't think that makes it okay. The appealing cartoons from this film -- which really are cute to look
at -- have yappers on them that would put Dial Soap out of business.
I'm not even going into the plot here. There was nothing redeeming about this movie at all. It's bad for parents,
children and any other wayward individual that might haphazardly pull it off a video shelf.
That's my review. Smaller, shorter, and unbiased.
