Didn't we,
as a society,
figure out that a solar eclipse did not signify doom, gloom and horror?
I understand why a primitive society might have interpreted things such
as this as a "bad omen".
I thought by the time we reached this stage in our evolutionary development,
we might see signs like this as a sign of the light forces sending us a sign of hope.
The moon and the sun have been spinning around for many, many years.
Sometimes, they get in each other's way.
And then,
life goes on.
Just like we mortals get in each other's way,
and it gets dark for us at times,
and then,
life goes on.
