They really need to put some more of the "important" awards up front. We were bored to death after the first hour. Sorry, but not too many people are into the "behind the scenes" awards.
I agree about Jessica Biels dress. Who thought that was a good idea?
Sarah Jessica Parker's dress would have been stunning, on someone who IS stunning.
    She is not.
That combo did not work for me.
    I enjoyed the group presentations.
It felt like the brotherhood/sisterhood of the profession.
Hugh Jackman did a great job.
I could have done without Beyonce in the musical number.
Aren't her fifteen minutes up by now?

I liked the group presentations, too. Most of them felt like the person speaking actually meant what they were saying. A few rang false (Adrian Brody doing Richard Jenkins) but overall they felt real.

I realized I might be getting too old for the show when I was watching the red carpet and there was much excitement about Vanessa Hudgins. I didn't know who she was (had heard the name, but didn't know she was on anything real, thought maybe it was The Hills). Googled her and saw HS Musical, so in the land of ABC and Disney, she is HUGE.

Yeah, I didn't know who the high school musical people were either. Not without the announcement. Blah.

I agree MTJ, SJP's dress was beautiful. Not many people can carry off a piece like that.
I'd rather be rich than stupid.

I am clueless about the High School Musical people too.
Or why anyone would be ga-ga over Zach Efron.
Why is it that girly boys are so popular now?
Efron, the Jonas boys, that Pattinson thing from "Twilight".
Have masculine looking men gone out of style?
    Shame about that and all.
