    FRINGE 101
    Are you new to "Fringe?"
On April 09, Adam Morgan, of fringetelevision.com wrote a nice primer of the show, which explains the plot, the characters, etc. with pictures, of course.
So if you're tired of trying to explain the show to people send them to Fringe 101.

    Thumbs up Re: Fringe Links

FRINGE Nominated For Three Webby Awards
Very cool. The official Fox Network Fringe website has been nominated for a Webby Award in 3 categories:

Television website: for the official Fringe website at fox.com

Video Remixes/mashups: for the "Fringemas" video

Best Writing: for the "Fringemas" video

    Yippee!

If you haven't been to Fox's Fringe website you really must go. Personally, I like fringetelevision.com better and wish they'd been nominated.
Also, the "Fringemas" video from this past Christmas is awesome. It's in my Fringe video thread, but I'll link if for you here, too. Congrats to fox.com for its Fringe website, and to all those responsible for the "Fringemas" video.

    Check This Out!
Last night I learned something new while on the fringetelevision.com post-"Bad Dreams" live chat.
Apparently there is a website called cortexifan.com.
What? When did that show up? I've been searching the internet for weeks and haven't heard anything about this!
Even more intriguing is its content.
You will have to use the link below and look at the content, and then come back to this post to understand it better.

There is a list of 45 test subjects with their initials, then what everyone believes is the year they entered the drug trials, and then either the letter "P" or "N."
On the chat they told me the "P" is for the Ohio test site and "N" stands for the Jacksonville, Florida test site.

Now, you can see "PB" is test subject #1 and "OD" is test subject #42. Any guesses as to who those people are?

Also interesting, there is no "NL" for Nick Lane on the list.
    Why is that?

I would love to hear your feedback on this.
If anyone reading this has any other info to help decipher the list please let me know!

It's time again for FringeTelevision to have an interview with a Fringe cast member. On Monday, April 27th FringeTelevision will apparently have an interview with the lovley Blair Brown, who plays the nefarious Nina Sharp.
The good folks at fringetelevision.com are asking for questions from Fringe fans.

So if you have anything you are dying to ask "Nina," use the link below.

    Paley Fest '09.
The 26th annual William S. Paley Television Festival ran from April 10th to April 24th in Hollywood.
Most of the cast and heads of Fringe appeared on April 23rd-the 13th day of the festival. There was a showing of "The Transformation," the 13th episode of Fringe(you see the pattern, don't you?).

Here are some links if you would like to read more about what happened when Fringe did the Paley Fest. For additional links, see www.fringetelevision.com

    Extra! Extra!
For those of you who can't get enough Fringe...
There's a new viral website spin-off from the official fox.com/fringe website!

Go to the Fringe home page at www.fox.com/fringe
See the yellow dot to the LEFT of the header "BIOS"?
Click on that dot. It will grow and show a short video of angry Olive sitting in the corner and Dr. William Bell's voice talking to his nurse about the "incident." This is the same clip we saw and heard at the end of "Bad Dreams."
    BUT, THERE'S MORE!!
Click on the dot again after the video finishes and it will take you to a new website called, "There's More Than One of Everything," with some glyphs and glowing dots.

So. Please. Someone. Let me know what the dots mean?

For those having trouble getting to the new Fringe viral website, use the link below. And enjoy!!

    Sad Breaking News!
Last evening fringetelevision.com(who seems to know every Fringey thing first!) posted that Kirk Acevedo who plays Agent Charlie Francis said in his private facebook page that HE HAS BEEN FIRED FROM FRINGE!
There is gossip that his character may be replaced by a female FBI agent. I will post more on this when I hear it.

IMHO, getting rid of Agent Francis and replacing him a with a female agent will cause an imbalance in Fringe. Charlie is Olivia's "normal male" confidant and partner. He watches her back, especially in all the cases in which Peter Bishop is not allowed to be involved with(and that's alot). He helps keep Liv grounded. He provides humor. And on occassion, he and Peter get some alpha male tension going which is very fun.(See my "Interrogation" video link).
In replcaing Charlie with a female agent Fringe will lose all of this.
