One of those old flicks I had never gotten around to. It's almost three hours, so good for a rainy Sunday. Extremely well acted and based on a true historical incident. Slaves on a slave ship mutiny and end up in custody in colonial Connecticut. An abolitionist lawyer, Matthew McConaughy, speaks in their defense. A stellar performance by Anthony Hopkins as John Quincy Adams.

i thought it also really put you right there with the despair the slaves felt. the woman and the baby were heartbreaking.
