Two other movies I've seen in the recent past...both pretty good.

3:10 to Yuma was good, but it was another movie where I felt let down by the ending. I get what they were going for, but it just didn't work for me. I thought Christian Bale was great in this (and with his equally great performance in Rescue Dawn, he should have gotten some love from the awards folks this year)...Ben Foster was really good, too. Even though I hated the ending, I think it is a worth a couple hours of your time.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was very, very good. At over 2.5 hours long, the pacing may test some people's patience, but I thought it was interesting enough that it didn't seem that long. Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck were fantastic. Pitt's understated portrayal of Jesse James was fascinating, and Affleck was truly believable as someone who wanted to BE James.

Two very different westerns...both worth seeing, in my opinion.
