Smile Tuesday's Telltale SHUIS pictures continue at the church.

As Luis stands beside Sheridan’s coffin, Ethan and Gwen walk into the church. Ethan sees both Luis and Theresa and looks from one to the other. Ethan asks Theresa what she is doing there. Theresa doesn’t get the chance to say anything because Luis hears him and is immediately at Theresa’s side telling Ethan not to bring his sister into this. Ethan tells Luis that he has no intention of drawing Theresa into their situation. Luis informs Ethan that Theresa is there to support him and he is there to be with that woman in the coffin. Ethan says that he does need to talk to Luis.

Outside, Ethan informs Luis that this is a private funeral and he is not welcome. Luis says that he is not leaving Sheridan. He knows that she would want him there. Ethan tells Luis that they will never know because Sheridan is dead and cannot tell them. Ethan tells Luis once again that he blames Luis for Sheridan’s death. Luis says that makes two of them because he blames himself, too. Luis will never forgive himself for leaving Sheridan even though the FBI called him off the case. Ethan doesn’t want to hear any more but Luis says that he doesn’t want to hear any more from a guy who called off his wedding at the last minute because he fell in love with a new chick. Ethan asks Luis if he wants to know the truth about why he canceled his wedding but Luis says that he doesn’t care. Luis tells Ethan that he doesn’t want Theresa to spend any more time around him, especially now that the wedding is off there is no need for her to be at the mansion.

Ethan tells Luis to leave his family alone. Luis decides to leave for now but he tells Ethan that he will be back and none of the Crane goons will keep him from being with Sheridan.

Luis wanders around the wharf as he had the night before when he saw Sheridan. He thinks about seeing her but tells himself how dumb that was because she is cold in her coffin now. Luis wonders why he feels that Sheridan is still so close to him. As Luis returns to the church yard, he overhears Gwen talking to Rebecca about Theresa. Luis demands to know why Gwen is making plans for his sister and why that would involve Ethan. Gwen doesn’t know what to say but Luis says that Gwen must have been talking about Theresa helping with their wedding plans. Gwen assures Luis that when they set a new wedding date, Theresa will not be involved in any way. Gwen lets Luis know that Sheridan cared very much for him. He asks Gwen if Sheridan told her that. Gwen admits that Sheridan did and on several occasions. Gwen lets Luis know that she knows that he would have done anything to save Sheridan’s life. He thanks her and says that he hopes Sheridan’s wish comes true. Someone deserves to be happy. Gwen tells Luis that means a lot coming from him. Luis then asks if she has seen Theresa. Gwen hesitates but sends Luis back into the church where she hopes that Luis will catch Ethan and Theresa together.

As we go back into the church, Sheridan’s casket is shown. She looks so beautiful, just like Sleeping Beauty. As the camera pans down to her hands we can see her index finger move slightly and we hear Sheridan’s voice ask where she is. We now know for sure that Sheridan is not really dead!

Smile Wednesday's Watchful SHUIS pictures of the day are from

the church as Luis goes back looking for Theresa. In the back of the church, Luis is stopped by Father O’Hara who gives his condolences on the loss of Sheridan. He tells Luis that he will see Sheridan again. Luis tells the priest that he thought that he saw Sheridan on the wharf last night but he was mistaken. Fr. O’Hara tells Luis that he wasn’t mistaken because Sheridan is alive. Luis looks skeptical. Father tells Luis that Sheridan’s soul is still alive and that she is with God now. Luis says that he cannot ignore the fact that his heart still feels like she is still there. Father says that is normal in this stage of the grieving process and given time, Luis will be able to accept Sheridan’s death. Luis can’t believe that will happen. He once again begins to look for Theresa but ends up in front of the candles as he lights one for Sheridan. Theresa sees Luis and tells Ethan that Luis is back and cannot find them together. Ethan leaves before Luis sees him with Theresa at Sheridan’s coffin.

Luis finally sees Theresa and thanks her for being there for him.

He says that he realizes how special their family is. Theresa came to the church just for him, to support him, but the only one who came to pay their respects from the Crane family was Ethan. Luis goes to pay his respects to Sheridan. He tells Sheridan that he still can’t believe that she is dead.

Sheridan is trying to communicate to Luis that she is alive. She tries to move her finger again so that he will see it and know that she is not dead.

Theresa hears what Luis says and tells him that she is afraid for him.

Theresa tries to convince Luis again that Ethan is a good person but Luis doesn’t want to talk about that and tells her that if she would marry a Crane, she would tear their family apart. Luis returns to Sheridan’s coffin and as he buries his face in his hands, Sheridan’s finger moves again but Luis doesn’t see the movement. Sheridan begs Luis to help her but no one can hear her cries.

Pilar is now at the church. Together Pilar and Theresa worry about Luis both because he is having such a hard time dealing with Sheridan’s death and because they know what a disaster it would be if Luis found out about Ethan and Theresa.

In her coffin, Sheridan keeps trying to get Luis to see that she isn’t dead. She keeps asking him to help her…..save her. She tries moving her finger but each time no one sees it. Hank arrives to show his support for Luis. Luis tells Hank that he can help him by finding Sheridan’s killer. Luis pulls a picture out of his pocket. It is one of Pierre. Luis wants to kill the man but not before he gets him to give Luis the identity of the shooter. Luis says that it will only take him 5 minutes with Pierre to kill him. Hank asks Luis to go outside for some fresh air but Luis refuses. He doesn’t want to leave Sheridan’s side.

Pierre is seen outside the church and then he walks through the door and sees Luis next to Sheridan's coffin.

Hank sits next to Pilar and tells her that he is afraid of what Luis might do if he say any one that he thinks could be involved in Sheridan’s death. Hank tells Pilar that killers often return to the scene of the crime so he wants to get Luis away from the church. Pilar goes to Luis and asks him to go outside with her which Luis does but says it will only be for a minute because he is staying with Sheridan until the end. Once Luis is out of the way, Pierre approaches Sheridan’s coffin.

He says that he thought that she had nine lives and they would never get rid of her. He said she sure caused a lot of trouble for one so pretty. Pierre sticks a needle in Sheridan hand to make sure that she is dead.

Pilar insists that Luis leave with her now so he inside the church to get his coat. When Luis goes back inside, he sees a man next to Sheridan’s coffin. He looks suspicious so Luis goes closer to investigate just after Pierre has stuck Sheridan’s hand. As Pierre turns, Luis grabs the man. Luis looks at Sheridan, sees the pin sticking in her hand, and Luis begins to fight with Pierre.

Smile Thursday's Tragic SHUIS pictures of the day

are inside the church as Luis has discovered that Pierre has tried to desecrate Sheridan's body by sticking a needle in her hand. Luis begins fighting with Pierre right there. Sam has arrived and is talking with Pilar and Hank outside the church about how worried they all are about Luis. Sam asks about Luis and Pilar tells him that Luis went inside to get his coat but they are leaving because she doesn't know what Luis might do if he ran into the man who shot Sheridan. Sam and the others who are outside the church hear the fight and all run inside. Sam tries to stop Luis from killing Pierre but Luis swings his arm and accidentally knocks Sam down. Luis says he is going to kill Pierre for what he has done to Sheridan, but first he wants to know who Pierre is working with, who it was that shot Sheridan. Sam finally gets Luis to let Pierre go. Luis stands next to Sheridan's coffin looking at her once more.

Ethan demands to know who the man is but when Sam tells him, he then tells Sam that he is responsible for Sheridan's death and that he doesn't understand why Sam did not arrest Pierre. Sam explains that they do not have enough evidence but Ethan says that the body in the coffin should be enough evidence for anyone. He tells everyone once again that he will make Sam pay for the police incompetence.

Ivy rushes to Ethan's side and says that he can't do that. When everyone is curious as to why Ivy would be defending Sam, she says that she is not. She just wants to stop the fighting because they are not respecting Sheridan.

Ethan says that she is right and asks everyone who was not invited to please leave. Almost everyone who was in the church leaves including Luis.

Ethan delivers the eulogy. When the eulogy ends, Ethan asks that the coffin be closed. The men standing behind the coffin begin to slowly lower the lid. Sheridan keeps calling for Luis but no one can hear her. She is in a panic saying that she will not be able to breathe and that she is afraid to be closed up in the box...remember that she is claustrophobic.

Outside, Luis gets one of his gut feelings and says that he has to see Sheridan. Sam, Hank and Pilar try to stop him but he runs into the church calling Sheridan's name. He stops at the coffin and tells them to stop lowering the lid. The men stop. Everyone watches Luis at the coffin. Sam expresses what everyone else is probably thinking...”what is Luis doing?” Luis is standing next to the coffin, holding Sheridan's hand and caressing her cheek.

Smile Friday's Farewell SHUIS pictures are from several scenes

that had me in tears as I rewatched them 7 years later. They are still that powerful and Luis as he said good bye to Sheridan, the woman he loved so deeply, were just as moving now as they were 7 years ago. Those scenes were so beautiful yet so sad.

At the church everyone is still looking toward Luis caressing Sheridan’s cheek. Ethan wants to make Luis leave but Gwen holds him back. Everyone is still watching Luis as he talks to Sheridan. Sheridan thinks that Luis has come back to save her but he says that he just had to see her beautiful face one more time. He is really having a hard time accepting that she is dead. She keeps trying to let him know that she is not dead. Luis sees the roses at the foot of the altar and picks one up. Ethan moves forward to throw Luis out when he sees that but Ivy stops him telling him that Luis is grieving, too. Luis loved Sheridan and she loved him so Luis should be allowed to say good-bye to her. Ethan says that she is right and he steps back.

Luis places the rose in Sheridan’s hand as he tells her to remember the story that he told her about his father planting the rose bush so that his mother would always know how much he loved her. Luis has a flashback to the time that he told Sheridan about the rose bushes and gave her the one perfect rose during the time of the hypnosis storyline. Luis tells Sheridan that she will always be in his heart and then he kisses her.

Luis raises his head and calls Sheridan’s name. Sheridan thanks God that Luis realizes that she is alive. She says that their connection is so strong. Luis says her name questioningly again. He thinks that he feels her presence and cannot believe that she is dead but Sam and Hank remind him that he saw the body with the blood and Eve did an autopsy so she is really gone. Luis says that he knows that she is gone but he wants her to be there with him. He can still feel her presence. Sheridan keeps pleading with Luis to save her, to realize that she is alive. Julian tells Luis that his public display of affection has gone one long enough and he must leave. Luis says that he is not going anywhere. Sheridan would want him to be there and that is enough for him.

Luis, with tears in his eyes, tells Julian that the whole funeral is a farce and that there is not one ounce of love in the church. Alistair couldn’t find the time to attend his own daughter’s funeral. Luis tells Julian that all Sheridan ever wanted was to be loved but she never got that. He says that Sheridan was the most special woman that he ever knew and the Crane family will never even know what they lost.
Hank talks to Sheridan and tells her how sorry he is. Sheridan has a flashback to Hank shooting her and she remembers how and why she is in the coffin. Luis walks up and talks to Hank about him being such a great support for Luis.

Luis is the last one to say good-bye to Sheridan. He holds her hand and tells her that he will never forget her. He kisses her for the last time, steps back, and watches as the lid of the coffin is lowered and closes on Sheridan who is screaming NOOOO!

The expression on Galen's face was just perfect. He expressed the hard time Luis was having seeing the coffin being closed on the woman he loved and didn't really believe in his heart was dead. He swallowed with those tears in his eyes again. He was just amazing.
