Smile Thursday's SHUIS picture of the day is one of the fan events

with the whole cast. Jeanne may know exactly when this picture was taken and hopefully let us know. Galen and McKenzie can be seen in the front row seated on the right of the cake.

Smile Friday's Forever Poignant SHUIS pictures of the day continue......

Hank is still on the docks crying over what he has done to not only Sheridan but to Luis. He says that he needs to leave town but Pierre tells him that he needs to pull himself together and go see Luis with an alibi. The longer Hank stays away, the more it will seem that he is guilty.

Luis hold Sheridan as he sits on the floor and wonders why it took him so long to realize how much he wanted and needed her. He doesn’t say loves her but we all know that is what he means. Eve tells Luis that he will have to leave Sheridan’s side now. As soon as Luis stands up next to Sheridan, Ethan bursts through the door having seen Sam outside before rushing in to talk to Sheridan. Sam goes to Luis’ side as they move to give Ethan a chance to see Sheridan. Ethan cannot believe that she is dead. Eve tells him that she is so sorry and walks off. Ethan asks what has happened here. Luis tells Ethan that someone shot Sheridan and they don’t know who did it. Ethan wants to know why Luis did it and Luis asks why he did what? Ethan wants to know why Luis let her did when they trusted Luis, SHE trusted Luis. Ethan attacks Luis saying that he killed Sheridan. Sam has to hold Ethan back and tries to explain that it was not Luis’ fault. Ethan wants to know where Luis was if he wasn’t there. Luis tells him about being called to Washington by the FBI who believed that Sheridan was no longer in danger from the French drug cartel. Ethan accuses Luis of only thinking of his career and not about Sheridan’s safety but Luis tells Ethan that he didn’t want to go but the FBI forced him to leave that night. He also tells Ethan that he called Sheridan and when she didn’t answer he knew something was wrong. He made the FBI agent turn around and come back to the cottage but it was too late. Ethan begins to cry. Sam tells Luis that he is sorry. Luis tells Sam that he feels that the light just went out of his life. Luis again wonders who could have done this. Then he asks where Hank could be. Sam says that Hank is probably chasing the killer. Why else would he not be there? Sam and Luis both hope that Hank is all right.

Hank returns to the cottage acting like he has no idea about what happened. Luis takes one look at him and says that he killed Sheridan. Sam wants to know why Luis would say such a thing. Hank pretends like he doesn’t know what Luis is talking about. He walks into the living room and sees Sheridan’s body and acts very surprised. Luis again yells that Hank killed Sheridan and he grabs Hank by his shirt. Sam tells Luis to let Hank go and to calm down. Hank tells Luis that he didn’t kill Sheridan. Luis says that he doesn’t mean that Hank pulled out a gun and shot her but that the minute Hank left Sheridan alone there, he signed her death certificate. Luis says that he trusted Hank but that Hank betrayed him and he betrayed Sheridan. Luis wants to know why Hank would leave Sheridan by herself. Hank tells Luis that Sheridan wanted some ice cream and he went to get it since it would only take a few minutes and the FBI had said that Sheridan was no longer in danger. Hank admits that he feels guilty as the scum who pulled the trigger but Sam tells him not to blame himself because it won’t bring Sheridan back.

Another cop investigating the murder accidentally hit the button on the stereo and Imagine begins to play. Luis looks at Sheridan and so forlornly says, “That was our song….Sheridan’s and mine.” Luis looks so sad. Sam tells Arte to turn the music off but Luis tells him to let it play. He sits next to Sheridan and thinks of some of their special times together as Imagine plays.

As soon as the song ends, Luis bangs his hand on the floor next to Sheridan and with tears in his eyes, he yells NO! He jumps up and attacks Hank again as he tries to choke him, telling Hank that he wants to kill him. Sam has a hard time breaking Luis’ hold on Hank but he finally does. Luis tells Hank that he wants him to pay for Sheridan’s death. He wants him dead. Sam pushes Luis into the kitchen to talk. Sam says that Luis is out of control. He says that Hank is not a trained cop and did the best that he could. Sam starts to tell Luis that he has no right…… but Luis tells Sam that it is Hank’s fault that Sheridan is dead. Luis also tells Sam that he knows that if anything happened to Grace, Sam would not stop until he found out who did it. Sam says that Luis is right. Luis tells Sam that he isn’t going to stop until he finds out who killed Sheridan. Sam tells Luis that the FBI and Interpol will find the murderer but Luis says they won’t if he finds them first. Sam realizes that Luis is in no condition to be going after the killer. Sam demands that Luis turn in his badge and his gun. Luis gives them to Sam but says that is not going to stop him from going after the killer. If it takes the rest of his life, he will find that S.O.B. (I remember thinking at the time that I didn’t know they could say that on TV. LOL!) Sam tells Luis to go home but he refuses, saying that he is not going to leave Sheridan.

Back in the living room, Hank has been having a flashback to shooting Sheridan when he suddenly cries out….NO! Sam rushes in and asks what happened. Hank tells Sam and Luis that he can’t live with this any more and he has to tell them. As Hank begins, Eve comes through the door with some men to collect Sheridan’s body to take to the morgue. Luis says that no one is going to touch Sheridan and she isn’t going anywhere.

I have also found the scene where Imagine plays and Luis thinks about his time with Sheridan on YouTube. Thanks to Frogger077 once again for that montage.

Post Saturday's Sorrowful SHUIS pictures of the day continue as

Eve and the men have arrived to take Sheridan’s body to the morgue. Luis will not let the men touch Sheridan. He says that she is not going anywhere. Finally, the men have Sheridan’s body in the body bag still on the floor but they ask Eve if they are ready to leave now. Luis tells them again that they cannot take Sheridan anywhere. Luis once again kneels on the floor next to Sheridan and caresses her hair and holds her hand. This is so sad. Sam asks Eve if there is anything that she can do. She says she will try to talk to Luis. She kneels on the floor next to Luis slipping her arm into his and leaning on his shoulder, she tells Luis that Sheridan’s spirit is with God now. Her body is here but we need to treat Sheridan’s body with the respect that it deserves. Luis tearfully agrees as Eve steps back and allows Luis to say good bye to Sheridan. Luis so tenderly kisses Sheridan’s forehead and tells her “good bye, Mi Amor” (Spanish for “my love”. The term is used for someone that you deeply love not someone that you like or are infatuated with…..the highest form of love).

Luis leaves Sheridan’s side to allow the men to place her on the gurney to leave. Sam tries to comfort Luis but as the gurney is about to be wheeled out of the cottage, Luis turns and stops the men just as they are about to close the body bag. He quickly returns to Sheridan’s side and tells her good bye once again. Then he tells her that he will miss her as he bends down to give her one more kiss.

Hank tells Luis that he was right, he did kill Sheridan. Luis looks very unbelievingly at Hank and tells him that he was wrong and that he was just needed to lash out at someone because he was in such pain. Luis knows that Hank could never hurt anyone. Hank insists that it is his fault.

Eve comes back and tells Hank that they all know that he cared for Sheridan but that he is not to blame. Hank keeps trying to tell them that he is the one who killed Sheridan but Luis takes the blame because he left Sheridan. Agent Freeman arrives and asks Sam for help. He tells Luis that he is sorry. After the two leave, Luis looks out the window at the ambulance and the flashing lights and tells Hank that he is going to find whoever did this and make them pay. Julian and Ethan arrive and Julian’s voice is heard inside the cottage demanding to know why his sister’s body was removed without his permission. Eve says that she is the medical examiner and she doesn’t need his permission. Luis runs outside to where Julian is standing and tells him that this is a crime scene.

Julian and Ethan blame Luis and Sam for Sheridan’s death but after a debate, Ethan has decided that Luis is solely to blame for Sheridan’s death. Ethan and Julian tell Luis to stay away from their family and off the Crane grounds ….Julian adds that it goes for all of his family, too. Eve and Sam are going to go to the morgue. Luis wants to go but Sam tells him to go home and grieve. Luis says that he will go home but he asks Sam to keep him informed on anything they find regarding Sheridan’s murder.

Smile Sunday's Skeptical SHUIS pictures of the day continue....

Luis goes home to be comforted by Pilar, Theresa and even Whitney is there.

They are all very concerned about Luis, having heard the news bulletin on the radio as Theresa was daydreaming about she and Ethan having a double wedding with Sheridan and Luis. LOL! Theresa thinks that Luis and Ethan would have bonded over their grief for Sheridan but Luis tells her that no one hates him more right now than Ethan Crane. Theresa is shocked and can’t believe it. She asks Luis what Ethan said and Luis tells her about Julian and Ethan telling him that they never wanted to see him again and Julian said that goes for the rest of the family, too. Theresa is upset about Luis talking badly about Ethan being a typical Crane so she tells Luis that Ethan is not a Crane man. but Luis says that he does and he saw that first hand tonight. Of course, she then tells Luis that she means that he doesn’t act like a Crane but Luis says that he does and he saw that first hand tonight. Luis tells her that the only one in that family who was not a snob was Sheridan.

Pilar tells Luis that he should take a shower and go to bed. Luis says that he can’t because he can still smell Sheridan’s perfume on his clothes and he doesn’t want to get rid of that. He says he will go for a walk along the docks. While on the docks, Luis is thinking about Sheridan and wondering how he will go on with his life without her. There are footsteps and someone says, “I’m here, Luis.” When Luis turns to look at the familiar voice of Sheridan, he sees her there before him. She looks beautiful. He asks if she is really there and she says that she is. She couldn’t stand to see him in so much pain so she had to come. They hug and kiss several times and Luis tells her that he was so afraid that he had lost her.

She assures him that she is there with him and won’t leave him again. Luis tells her that he can’t live without her, he can’t, he can’t…….so sweet and romantic. He kisses her so passionately again. Suddenly, Sheridan hears a noise and Luis goes to look to see what or who it is. Of course, it is only Hank. Luis tells Hank that Sheridan is there and she is not dead. Hank tells Luis that she is dead, as does Hal Freeman who is also on the docks. Since there is no place else Sheridan could be and no way that she could have gotten passed all of them, they finally convince Luis that he was just imagining that Sheridan was there.

Hank tells Luis that he needs to go home and rest but Luis says that he can’t stop, he needs to keep walking. He goes off by himself and stops after a while and tells himself that it seemed so real.

Smile Monday's Melancholy SHUIS picutures of the day continue.

It is now morning in Harmony but Luis is still out on the docks thinking about Sheridan. As he looks out over the water, he wonders how he will live his life without Sheridan. He can’t believe that it took him so long to realize how much he needed her. He knows that he should go home but he just can’t get her out of his mind. Luis thinks about their last night together.

Further down the docks, Sam gets a call from Pilar asking whether Sam has seen Luis because he hasn’t come home and she is worried. Sam and Hank find Luis on the docks and Luis realizes that it is morning. He has just lost track of time. After Sam talks with Luis a bit and assures him that they will find the killer, Luis decides to go home. At the house, Luis finds Theresa at the kitchen table with a newspaper that she tries to hide from him. He asks what she is hiding, then snatches it away from her. She tells him not to read it because it will only upset him. The headlines are all about Ethan declaring that he is blaming Luis and Sam for Sheridan’s death and will see that they are forced off the police force. Luis doesn’t like that Ethan is unfairly attacking Sam but when Theresa defends Ethan, Luis gets suspicious. He finally tells Theresa how important she and the rest of the family are to him. He just wants to protect her and keep his family safe as they are all he has to live for now that Sheridan is gone. Luis sees the other headline in the paper about Sheridan’s funeral. It is to be a private funeral but Luis says that the Cranes will not stop him from saying good bye to Sheridan.

Luis arrives at the church looking so very handsome in his charcoal gray top coat and burgundy scarf.

He approaches Sheridan’s coffin and begins to talk to her.

He looks up and sees that Theresa has arrived at the church, too. Theresa is dressed in a black coat with a burgundy fur collar. (They certainly look like brother and sister here) He wants to know what Theresa is doing there since she doesn’t know the Cranes. Then he says that she is a wonderful sister because she came to the church to support him. He gives her a hug and goes back to Sheridan. Theresa stands back and waits until she sees Ethan and Gwen walk into the church. Ethan looks from Theresa to Luis.
