I really liked this movie. I have not seen the original, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I found this version highly entertaining. I don't know if it is a film that will stick with me, like the Coen Brothers' "No Country for Old Men," but it was funny, sad, visually interesting and had some good performances. I think Hailee Steinfeld could be the "new" star the Academy recognizes with a Best Supporting Actress nod this year. Well worth a watch - I'd give it an "A."
