Soap star Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri, General Hospital) returns to Canada to help make wishes come true!
Toronto ON, August 11 2010: Soap stars Lisa LoCicero and Dominic Zamprogna, who play mother and son team Olivia and Dante Falconeri on the popular ABC Soap Opera General Hospital, are coming to Toronto to make wishes come true, both for the fans of the stars as well as The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada. On September 11, 2010 they will host a private brunch at the Rogers Centre, sponsored by The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club, for 10 lucky fans. This will then be followed by an afternoon of baseball as they cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays together. Organizers of the event have set a fundraising goal of $10,000 to be raised for the 10 spots for the ‘Brunch n Ball with the Falconeri’s’.
The day will be capped off with a ”Meet and Greet” Event, for 150 fans. This event will be held at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel from 7PM to 10PM. The cost per ticket is $125 which includes the following: food and beverage, a chance to bid on items donated by Dom & Lisa (ALL proceeds going to the Children’s Wish, opportunity for photos, and a cash bar. This is an opportunity to mix and mingle with the stars and participate in a question and answer session where the burning questions of what will happen on their favorite soap will be answered.
“Fans of Dominic Zamprogna have been working hard to bring him back to his homeland and the idea of a fundraiser for The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada was the right link to make it happen” says Heather Corbett Tuttle, one of the organizers of the event. “As his popularity on the show has been gaining momentum, there have been many people clamoring for a Canadian event so they would have a chance to meet him in person. It only made sense to tie in Children’s Wish because it was a wish comes true for fans when it was announced, and this way we can all give back as well.”
100% of the NET Proceeds from these events will be donated to The Ontario Chapter of the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. For ticket sales or more information on both events please visit the web site:
