Each designer ( except Logan) got to choose a location and create a look inspired by that location.
Tonight's guest judge is Milla Jovovich( former model turned actress in movies such as Resident Evil and The Fifth Element.)
Carol Hannah's Pick: Palm Beach Judges Loved the print, color and fabric of the dress. They also liked the braiding of the fabric across the back. Michael thought some accessories would dress up the outfit even more but overall he still liked the dress. She was safe tonight.
Althea's Pick: St. Tropez I personally loved Althea’s look ( felt she should have won.) She was safe tonight.
Gordana's Pick: New York Judges liked the necklace and color scheme of the dress. Judges were impressed with her look. They feel she lacks confidence and should defend her designs. She is safe tonight.
Logan's Pick: Hollywood ( I was very surprised that no one voluntarily picked Hollywood. I thought that one would be the easiest of all the locations. But then again, maybe it would be too easy and therefore not challenging enough for the judges tastes if you can’t think of something spectacular to wow them with.)
The judges said he lacked style and felt he should have taken it to next level. Logan is safe.
Irina's Pick: Aspen So the reason the others aren’t doing so well in the challenges ( according to Irina) is because they find the time to joke around and laugh. They actually take the time to breathe and relax and not be so bitchy to each other in turn causing them to fail. Interesting. Personally, I liked Irina’s look. Although the judges liked her look they felt the color scheme was a little too one dimensional. Irina nailed her Aspen look and won the challenge tonight.
Nicolas and Christopher are in the bottom 2 tonight.
Christopher Pick: Santa Fe Judges did not like the look of this outfit at all. Nothing about it seemed inspired by Sante Fe. They also didn’t like the proportions of the dress and liked the belt more than the whole outfit itself.
Nicolas' Pick: Greece Mixed reviews on his outfit. Milla liked the top and felt he should have ran with that. Judges felt his look lacked a grecian inspiration and was very lack luster. Nicolas was the eventual loser tonight.
I have to say that after seeing Christophers reaction to the results tonight, he must have wondered how he yet again dodged a bullet. I really felt he was going home. Maybe he has magical powers. :o
