A few board questions...

What style is everyone using to view the posts? I've been using the Hybrid because it looks a little more like the threads we're used to. I don't like that the oldest is on top though. It's easy to miss new replies.
What does it mean when it says "Post a quick note or reply." How is that different from just regular posting?
I do like all the options we have here. It's pretty cool! And I LOVE all of the avatars with pictures. Everyone looks great. Especially the "nekkid monkey." LOL!

I am using the linean(sp) newest first.

Not too sure about the quick reply but I think it doesn't show the smiley on the side that you can use. I'll have to notice next time I post using the quick reply. I'm still learning and doing some experiments, :blush2ey: lol..........

but mine shows the newest threads on the top. I believe that you can change the settings under "Set your options". Another thing that you can do is subscribe to threads, then you can check your subscriptions to see which ones have replies.

As for the quick reply, you don't get all of the bells and whistles that you get in advanced mode. In quick reply, you can't change the subject line, so I try to remember to use the advanced mode.

Yup! Quick Reply is just basic posting and doesn't have the option for smilies etc. I'm using Hybrid too, just because it's similar to the old boards. Hard to break away completely I guess.

see the blue bar above the list of threads? Above the "last post by" box, there is an arrow that you can click to reorder the threads. That will put the thread with the newest post on top.
