Ok, so Chima and Lydia are the first ones heading to the chopping block. Was it a good decision? I can't really say.

Which one is supposed to be the pawn? There was some discussion about using a pawn right?

I personally would have liked for Laura to go up no matter who is going up with her.

I'm kind of torn between those who make alliances early on. I feel like people should atleast wait a week and get a feel for everyone.

Will they give the nominees a chance to win whatever they win to get off of the block?

Chima was acting like a baby on the show last night. I thought she was going to out and out quit!

I think, from what I saw last night, Chima is supposed to be the pawn, but there's probably nobody that would be sad to see her go. Lydia does seem to be smart in her gameplay. You could see her sizing people up and thinking, so it wouldn't be a bad move to get rid of her, too.

I know Chima is supposed to be a pawn but I kinda like Lydia. I wanted Laura to go up. Maybe Lydia will win veto. Or the pawn will go home. I don't like how she threw a fit about losing.

Chima is the pawn and knows it? Was throwing a fit an act in order to throw the others off? I think Lydia is interesting and I would like her to stay just to see what she brings to the mix.

I agree. I think she would be a much better player than Chima, which is why it is strategically smart for the others to get rid of her... but for our viewing sake, it would be better if Lydia stayed.

Well, I still can't say I have a favorite just yet but I can certainly tell you who I can't stand. Jessie, Russell and Laura.

Laura really? People don't like you because your boobs are big and you're too pretty? Really?

Russell the love muscle? Russell is a tool, you know the kind that screws you. Did he really think coming at Jeff the way he did would scare or intimadate him?

I understand the whole "Clique" thing but lets not forget, they didn't choose to be in a clique with each other and if they do or did, still wouldn't mean they would have chosen who they got stuck with.

Who on their best day would ever be in a clique with Messy Jessie?

Russell was way out of control coming at Jeff the way he did. Even after stating that the game is played on a day to day basis not week to week, and fully acknowledging that by next week, he could be the target just like any one can.

I cant wait til next week and hope Jeff, Braden ( if he survives) Ronnie ( sloppy work by the way) or anyone not in the Atheletes club becomes HOH.

Ronnie played as well as I thought he could. Again, Russell the rotten muscle tried to scare the crap out of him, get more of a reaction but Ronnie held his own. I'm surprised he didn't go up on the block since Russell is so sure of his deception.

I'm glad Lydia is off the block. I don't remember her promising Jessie, Natalie or Russell anything in exchange for the veto. She did a good job throwing Braden under the bus though. That could come back to bite her in the a$$ if he finds out she threw him out there.

Michele is pretty quiet, anyone notice that?

I haven't seen all of last night's show yet. I was flipping back and forth between Big Brother and the All Star Game, so I don't know exactly what happened yet. I did see Russell making an arse out of himself with Jeff. I don't know what he thought he was accomplishing, either. He just looked like a bully. I don't know if some of these people would act this way in real life or if they're doing it for dramatic effect or what... who knows, maybe he's on steroids and has 'roid rage'. He's obviously in love with himself, just as Jessie is with himself!

As for Laura, I didn't see what she said, but there is some truth to what you posted, DOOL1Fan. There have been a couple of people in this thread that have wanted Laura voted out early. I haven't seen any behavior that would annoy anybody, so I can only assume it's because of her big, surgically enhanced boobs. If Laura thinks she's so pretty, she's barking up the wrong tree on that one. She's OK looking, but just average or so... she certainly doesn't have a drop dead gorgeous face.

Again, just from the little I saw last night, I'd have to say Jeff is one of my favorites.

OK, I watched the whole thing now. What is up with Natalie? She accuses Jeff of throwing the competition when the word she spelled was LAST? Did she really think she'd win with that?

I'm not sure what the line of the night was... either Laura saying she couldn't help having big boobs or Casey in the diary room talking about it, "Yes you can, you CHOSE to have implants!" LOL, funny stuff.

Jeff and Jordan are definitely my favorites right now. They seem like the most "real" people to me.

Russell was completely stupid for attacking Jeff. Did he think he was winning anyone to his side doing that?

I know I about died when she said that. There's just something about her I don't like. Maybe that she's that full of herself.

I hope Braden survives. He seems kind of interesting. I am not a big fan of Chima since she threw that fit the other night so I wouldn't be sad to see her go. I really thought they were going to put Ronnie up last night since it was obvious he was the one spilling secrets.

I can't believe Russell going off on Jeff last night. The only thing he accomplished was making himself look like a jerk in front of the other houseguests. Just because you can't spell doesn't meant you are throwing the competition.

I really hope someone other than an athlete wins HOH and puts Russell and Jessie up against each other. You gotta get at least one of those two gone the first chance you get. Otherwise the athletes will have the run of the house.

I did notice D00L1Fan that we don't see much from Michele. I would imagine it's because she's keeping quiet for the moment. People aren't considered interesting unless they are causing drama or nominated.

Ya know, Laura reminds me of someone and I think it might be Jen. Remember when Jen and Evel Dick argued all of the time. I couldn't stand Jen and Laura seems to be getting on my nerves in the same way she used to.

As far as Natalie accusing Jeff of throwing the game, I forgot she did that. Here she is accusing someone of being a fraud and she's lying about her age? Or did she come clean about this yet? Oh yea, she did spell LAST...lol...was that all she could do herself or was that stradegy so one of her team mates could win?

She talked about Jeff not getting any blood on his hands, well with Russell, Jessie and her doing it, why should he?

Whoever said they would all be stupid if they didn't take Russell and Jessie out the first chance they got, I totally agree!

I liked Jen! OK, she annoyed me at first, but I never thought she was as dumb as she pretended and then I thought Dick was way over the top mean to her. I don't think anybody deserved to be treated as badly as he treated her. I can see where Laura is full of herself, but not nearly as bad as Jessie and Russell the love muscle. Who calls themself that? PUKE! :)

From what they've aired, Natalie has not come clean about lying about her age. I don't think she has. It's just so funny when these people will lie about something and then swear up and down they don't lie! Mm hmm... sure ya don't!

Then I wonder how Jessie and Natalie would feel knowing Russell threw them under the bus by telling Lydia putting her up was THEIR decision. Talk about not wanting to get any blood on their hands... that's exactly what Russell was doing.

SPOILER BELOW>> If you haven't seen show yet, beware!!

Man oh man, I am pissed. I really thought the smartest move is what Jordan came up with, to vote Chima out and take complete control from the Athletes. I also really thought I'd have to worry about Casey being the swing vote. But once he voted out Chima I thought all was going well... until Ronnie.

When he declared he was going to hell ( on the express I hope...grrr ... ) my blood started to boil. How could he? Why didn't he? I am so mad at him right now. Mad seems too mild of a word.

Braden shouldn't have called Lydia the things he called her but I don't recall him saying anything racist at all. Chima said he did. What did he say?

I really wanted Braden to stay. Even if only for the pure spite of Jessie and Russell.

Which brings me back to Ronnie causing the tie vote and ultimately leaving it up to Jessie to make the final decision.

Lydia going off on Jordan was uncalled for, because she didn't shed tears for her? How stupid of a reason is that for her to be mad. Not crying for someone doesn't mean you aren't their friend, obviously she may have felt a bit more close to Braden but I'm sure it wasn't meant to be personal toward Lydia.

Jeff and Jordan definately are emerging as my faves.

So week 2 begins with Ronnie as HOH. I wouldn't be surprised if Russell and Jessie bullies him and pretty much uses him as the frontman of the renegade crew.

I would have liked to see Michele win.

Ronnie pointed to his ring finger when he won, I don't know what that meant, did anyone else catch it?

Geez I am so mad right now.

For Ronnie, this may have been the smarter move. I was actually surprised Michele voted against Chima. If they had voted her out, it would have hurt their clique. By keeping her in, it at least gives someone else on their team a chance to win.

I don't like the cliques. They're artificial pairings that wouldn't have happened naturally. Some could easily have been on other teams, too. I could see Ronnie being an offbeat. Does anyone else think he looks weird? He could certainly be an offbeat if you ask me! I don't see how Chima is on the brains. So she's a writer, big deal, she hasn't been the smartest person I've ever seen.

Did anybody catch what she said that was bleeped out? I'd like to know what she accused Braden of. They never showed him saying anything racist, but it doesn't mean he didn't. There's a lot they leave out. I don't blame him for what he said to Lydia, either. She DID sell him out. Why wouldn't he think of her as a 'B' then? She is. She totally sold out to save herself. I agree with you DOOL, it was stupid of her to go off on Jordan. Just because you're friends doesn't mean you can't be closer to someone else. It was an uncalled for attack. And Kevin defending Lydia... pfff t, he doesn't even know what is going on! He's clueless.

I would imaging Jeff will be going on the block now for sure. It won't surprise me if Jordan is the other one. Ronnie has now clearly aligned himself with Russell and Jessie, so he has to start taking out the other side. Will they put up a pawn to try to hide their alliance? That would be funny... put up Jessie as a pawn and watch him go home! I don't think that'll happen, though. I'll be surprised if it isn't Jeff and Jordan.

I didn't catch Ronnie doing that and have no idea what it would mean.

If I find out why Ronnie was pointing to his finger I'll post. Yes, he does have a peculiar look. I think when Chima was speaking before the votes, she was repeating what Braden said...and yeah..I know, just because we didn't hear him say something racist doesn't mean he didnt say it. I did hear Lydia tell Braden to "Kiss my Latin a$$". Maybe that was in response to something racist he said..heck, I don't know.

OMG Kevin..lol.. I kind of ignore him because he doesn't make much sense to me. When Jeff was in the diary room asking if he himself needed some crazy pills..I died laughing. He seems to walk into chaotic situations he didn't start and yet has to defend himself without knowing what the heck is going on...lol... I feel bad for him.

At some point they will get rid of the whole "Clique" thing. I would think it would get more vicious once they are "every man for themselves" rather than carry a team mate...but they've shown so much viciousness so early on...who knows..

Yes, but I was wondering specifically what Chima said he said. Did you hear her say he called Julie something? I just have a hard time believing that if I heard it right.

I heard Lydia say that, too, but I didn't think it was due to anything racist Braden said. Again, at least not from anything we saw.

Russell kind of reminds me of Cappy. He just seems to have the same type of attitude. And with the way Lydia has been hanging on him to get off the block... I don't think Braden was far off with what he called her. It's pretty sickening how she has been massaging these guys to win their favor. Jessie, to his credit, was able to see that and was one of the reasons she was put up in the first place, I think.

They have been particularly vicious already this season. Either the producers get them going or they think they have to act that way because of past seasons... I don't know.
