Merlin

I am totally digging this new twist on the story of Merlin.
While not entirely true to the Camelot story,
it's an interesting rendition of what Merlin's early days might have been like.
I'll be interested to see where they go with it,
and how it does in the ratings.
I would think something as original as this show will do well in the dull summer re-run session.

I'm liking it. The ratings for the first week were pretty awful but I have it on tivo to record the series. Love seeing Anthony Head! And the guy who is Merlin is a charmer. Gwen, as well. Gaius could use a better wig, though ;)

It seems like they have a whole cast of relative nobodies, actor wise.
I looked up all the youngsters and they don't have much experience.
But I find them all very good in their roles.
I guess the ratings will show how many people are still interested in the stories surrounding Camelot.

I'm wondering why they have tampered with legend and made Merlin and Arthur the same age.
All the stories of legend, have Arthur as a much younger man than Merlin.
