The writers have said that the "Ann Arbor connection" will be explored in Season Six.
I'm wondering what that is all about.
We know that Dharma was founded there (from the orientation videos).
We know that Faraday went there to work from 1974 to 1077.
I wonder what more is to be explained by exploring this connection.

I believe it has to do with the founding of Dharma. The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor. The orientation videos talked about the DeGroots and their work at the U of Michigan. The Hanso's may also have roots in Michigan, I'm not sure, but at least Dharma does. This is all from memory, so it could be wrong, but to the best of my recollection, that's what it would point to.
