According to this article, Zack may be back for the Season Finale.
YEAH BABY!!!
They are kind of wishy washy about it though.
And...
there is interesting stuff in the article about why Bones and Booth finally knock boots.
Think clinically, like Bones.
Her biological clock starts ticking and she decides she wants to have a kid.
So she picks Booth as the Dad.
I can see those two sharing a child, but not maintaining a romantic relationship.
EDIT: Eric Millegan's site says it's definite that Zack will be in the Season Finale.
Now, if only he was back on a permanent basis.
