View Full Version : More SPOILERS
I would say it's about 99.9% sure that we are going to lose another main character by the end of this season.
If it's Hurley I will cry for weeks.
Anyone else, I can deal with.
Also...The finale will introduce us to Jacob, the island's spiritual leader, and we'll see a wedding that takes place off-island.
I'm stumped about the wedding, unless it's a flash back to Desmond and Penny. It's going to be very interesting to see who Jacob turns out to be.
I think whoever dies will become jacob.

I'm pretty sure I know who the wedding is... it's not Desmond and Penny from what I've read, even though I've been trying to stay away from spoilers. It's Jin and Sun.
As to who dies... again, from what I've heard in rumors all season long is that it won't be Hurley. I don't know if what I've heard is right, so maybe I shouldn't post it. Sawyer
If you want to know who I think it is, just highlight my post here and look after the second paragraph.
I highlighted... but don't see?

You don't see what I wrote in white after post it? OK, I'll post it here.
Sawyer.
You know, I heard a rumor a long time ago that he was going to be one of the main cast that got killed.
There was a hot debate on a LOST message board that the producers would never kill off that character, because he is such an audience draw.
As in, female audience.
Me, if I was told that one main character had to go, and I got to pick,
it would be Kate.
I think her character brings the least to the table in terms of plot or mystery.
Sorry Thor. :anon2d:

Thanks, yeah I highlighted the whole thing, and nothing. I see where you used the color tags, but there was no text in between. *sigh* it would be that character, wouldnt it?
Now I'm going back to who "is" and "isn't" on Jacob's list.
And wondering what exactly that means.
Because Mikail told Locke that he "wasn't" on Jacob's list.
But Locke certainly seems to be the chosen one.
That being the case, is it better to be on the list, or not?

I've also heard Juliet may be killed off. It seems like she'll be starring in another show next year, so speculation had been running rampant about that for a while, but as much as I like her, she's not one of the MAIN characters. She's been important, but she's not someone that will make people more upset than Charlie.
Jack and Kate weren't on Jacob's list, either. It'll be interesting to see what that means, if anything.
Kate is in it to the end... and so is Jack. I'd say Ben and Locke are, too. All others are probably fair game, but when Faraday told Jack, "Any one of us can die, Jack", I took that as a sign that someone will die. It almost seemed like it was foreshadowing Jack's death. That would COMPLETELY upset the show, in my opinion. Of course, when someone dies on the show, it doesn't mean they never come back. We might still see them in an episode or two. I expect we'll even see some more of Faraday.
It wouldn't surprise me if Juliet and Sawyer get killed at the same time. They have fallen out of favor with the Dharma folks.
Here is a link explaining the rumor about Elizabeth Mitchell and another show next season.

Jacob is not going to be one of the Losties. one who died before or otherwise. Or any of the other characters killed off on the show. They have hired an actor to play Jacob and its not a previous character.
I wont be happy if Sawyer dies. Hes my favorite character. But I have never been pleased when they killed of one of the Losties or tail section people.

MTJ, I think it's funny how you think Rose and Bernard are so important to the story, but fail to see how important Kate is. Kate is a much more important major character than they are. I still believe Jack and Kate will be the two most pivotal characters on the show before all is said and done.
And you are entitled to your opinion Thor.
I see Jack and Kate as "flawed" as Mikail would say.
Both of those characters lack depth, as far as I'm concerned.
I see Rose and Bernard as old souls who are wise.
I think they are going to end up being a lot more important than you think.
Time will tell.

They're ALL flawed! I thought that was one of the early themes of the show. Rose and Bernard may be older, but it doesn't necessarily make them wise. Now if you want to get into 'old souls', then we have to talk about Richard Alpert. He's truly an old soul, maybe even an ancient one!
Oooo , time will tell... I love it... did you even realize what a profound statement that is when considering what show this is about? Ha ha ha! :D
Time will tell was inspired by young Dan Faraday saying he could MAKE TIME.
Although, I think my favorite line from "The Variable" was from Sawyer to Faraday...
Your Mother Is An Other?
Sounds like a song from the 1950's.
it's interesting that so many of the freighter people were connected to the people on the island in the 70s. miles' parents are in dharma. penny's dad and daniel's parents are others/hostiles. charlotte's mom was dharma. coincidence? no such thing in lost!!! maybe it's the island's way of having the kids pay for mistakes the parents made. I think jack's dad, christian, will be showing up soon, in 1977. I wonder if we'll get to meet hurley's friend that manned the hatch and told him the numbers. maybe kate's dad or grandpa were once stationed there, or even brought the hydrogen bomb in the 50s. I'll bet there are a LOT more connections than we are aware!!!
Interesting that you should say that Anne, about other LOSTIES having a connection to the island.
I wonder if that is why we are to see young Kate, Tom, Juliet and Rachel (Juliet's sister).
I think Christian had/has big ties to the island, because of all of his trips to Australia.
I think we may find out about some tie between Widmore and Christian.
It's gonna be a looo nnn gg summer.
ITA!!! it will definitely be a LOOO NG summer!!!
so is it better for them to keep it intense (by having a new one every week for 3 months then have 9 months off) or is it better to draw things out (by having 1-2 new ones a month and doing reruns)??? I LOVE the intensity, but if dealing with reruns are the cost to have it more often, I might be ok with that!!! in my ideal world, there would be a new lost EVERY week, no breaks, no seasons, just every week another glorious episode!!! lol, probably too much to ask, huh?
I don't think it's too much to ask.
That show is making ABC gazillions of dollars.
