I'm going to miss it tonight since I have a band rehearsal. I'll tape it, but may not get to watch until tomorrow...:( So, DM, I'll be looking for your opinions when I get home tonight...I hope it's another week where you are first to post. I hope you don't mind me posting before DM, I'll just throw some of my thoughts around real quick.

Adam was spectacular to me.

Allison picked a song I thought was perfect for her vocally, but I thought it may have been a little too mature for her in content.

Danny was just alright to me.

Matt did a better job than I thought he would with what he sang.

Kris Kris Kris was my favorite tonight. I never really give Kris the credit he desrves but after tonight I definately have him in my top 3 along with Allison and Adam. I thought Kris stood out more than anyone tonight especially with the song he picked, he made it fit his vocal range, the arrangement was awesome and I just loved it. Even before Paula commented on the "Santana feel", I was telling my friend that's exactly what it sounded like to me. Great job Kris.

I'm picking Lil and Anoop to go home this week. In spite of Lil losing her voice the day before, her performance was still too weak to survive this week.

I didn't like Anoops song at all, his version of it I mean and I think Matt did a slightly better job so Anoop, to me, should go home too.

Oh no, of course I don't mind who posts first...hehehe! I'm home afterall. We are having a record breaking heatwave right now and our AC at the office is down. It was 95 degrees in there when I left this evening. I'm so hot that I'm chillin, so no rehearsal for me tonight.

Here's what I thought: (and thanks KrisMich for the compliments!)

1...Lil, Lil, Lil...you need to go home. I'm sorry she had voice problems the day before, but still I haven't really thought much of her. She just hasn't stood out to me. Just forgettable.

2. Kris..He played his guitar and turned the song around..not disco at all. I commend him for changing it up. He has a good voice. I don't see him going home. He has too many fans.

3. Danny..Loved it! It did have that Santana feel to it. It was upbeat and loved what Paula said, his voice is sexy.

4. Allison...she always amazes me with her big voice! Yeah..it might have been a bit grown up for her age..the content of the song, but bravo. She did a fantastic job!That last note of hers was wow!!

5. Adam...as always, making the song his own. so versitile. He has an amazing voice.

6. Matt...Lot better than last week. I love it when he wears his hat. He might actually get saved this week.

7. Anoop... He looked good with his facial hair..made him look more mature..nice looking. Loved his voice, but the song to me was rather boring. His last note was off key. I do love his voice though..but he might go home.

One I think that definitely will go home is Lil.
I'm torn between Anoop and Matt to go home. Love them both..but someone has to go. And to me they were the other two weak ones.

My fav tonight was Allison.

Always interesting to see what songs will be chosen especially since many of the song era themes are before most (or all of them) were born...lol.

Enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts on the shows, including tonights. Here's mine:

1. Lil: She looked so WOW tonight in that catsuit! Love her hair and she's just all round a beauty, but as talented as she is vocally she is not a standout beside some of the others.

2. Kris: Totally loved the song and the arrangement. Win or lose this contest I'm sure the ink is already on a contract for him after the show. Fresh and always orginal, plus he's a cutie!!

3. Danny: Still my fav although not my fav song of his, but he's consistantly right on with vocals.

4. Allison: It's still hard to believe she's just 17! What a great and unique voice...a true raspy rocker talent way beyond her tender years!

5. Adam: Truely the most orginal and distinct of all the contestants. He can sing anything, in any genre and make it his own. Definately has that "it" factor star quality.

6. Matt: Did a good job tonight and I agree it was much better than last week's.

7. Anoop: I thought he did a really nice job too...although I think he might have done a bigger, faster more upbeat tempo song.

I'll be surprised if Lil makes it thru and would bet she goes. Of the rest, I agree... either Matt or Anoop wll most likely go, too...but not sure which it should be.

When and IF it comes down to Danny, Allison, Adam or Kris. That's really gonna be a toss-up to see how the rest of all this plays out.

:(:(:( My cable went bonkers tonight and I was only getting a few channels. Naturally, FOX wasn't one of them. I did get to see Adam on Youtube. Is there a place where I can see all of them? Not all are on youtube, MP3s of all of them are, but not video.

No worries! I was able to see or hear most everyone on YouTube last night. Thanks goodness for YouTube...LOL!

It's hard to say, but from what I heard last night, I'm choosing Lil and Matt to go.

I thought Lil and Anoop were the two deserving of going home.

I liked Lil's performance but I don't think it was good enough.

Loved Kris' performance! Not only that but he made the light bulb finally go on for me about when the judges say make it your own! lol Took long enough I know. It was really great, best of the night to me.

I love Danny even more after last night's performance! I loved it.

I am not a fan of Allison but I could see her appeal after that performance. I agree she has a huge voice but it is another one of those voices that sounds exactly the same no matter what she sings.

Again, I'm not a fan of Adam but his performance was good and I could finally see why people like him, although I didn't really care for it that much myself.

I loved Matt's performance. I think it was definitely worth him staying another week!

Did not like Anoop's song at all. Thought he and Lil were the weakest performances by a mile! It'll be interesting to see what happens. I hope it will be Lil and Anoop.

I haven't really had any favorites this season. No one has really stood out but I have to say that after last night, Kris, Danny and Matt did for me.

Well, I think america got it right tonight. I know it's going to get harder and harder over the next few weeks to pick who should leave unless it's just a horrible performance that'll make it easy for us to choose.

At this point in the competition, I think the judges have said everything neccesary, have tried to make their point very clear as to what needs to happen from now on.

Up your game, raise the bar, ect. Song selection, performance, making the song your own, standing out above everyone else. It has to be a packaged deal, not one or the other, but incorporating everything.

I don't know in what week the judges will pick the songs for the contestants. Maybe when it's down to 3 contestants? I'm not sure.

One of the things I really like about AI is, it has something for everybody. Seeing KC tonight was fun for me. I loved KC and the Sunshine band growing up and for other people who watch the show with their kids today, it must be fun to share that bit of nostalgia with them. I was hoping Donna Summer showed up. I don't know about anyone else, but she really is the face of the disco era for me.

Anyway, it's getting down to the wire...

Yeah..bye bye Lil and Anoop. I really hated Anoop leaving. He just seems like a very nice guy..and his ballad type songs are the good ones. Has a nice soothing voice I think. But someone has to go. Lil hasn't impressed me that much at all over the weeks. I was surprized to see Allison in the bottom three though. But she was saved..whew.

DOOLfan..I loved KC..but to me he just didn't sound that good tonight. I saw him in concert at one of our casinoes a few years back. Of course he's changed..he's aged..and put some weight around the middle..but to me, his performance didn't wow me last night. (actually I had to watch the whole thing today...recorded it..was out of town). David Archeleta did a fantastic job. He's really loosened up..seems like an old pro at this now. He's a cutey!
