Well...the judges used the "save" option tonight. Bottom three were Lil, Anoop and Matt. Which one do you think made the bottom and got saved??

It was Matt. Wow...was he happy!! But next week, 2 will get voted off.

Well, to say I'm shocked is an understatement. I didn't realize that if the save was used, the other contestant in the bottom 2 would still remain. I thought they would automatically leave. Never saw this coming and I really misunderstood the rules.

I never really thought the judges would use the save unless Adam, Allison or Danny ended up in the bottm 3 for some crazy reason. I think these 3 will be the top 3 or atleast I hope they will. Anoop didn't deserve to be in the bottom to me.

Ok, so next week is Disco week and I hope the contestants keep it up tempo with their selections.

I'm really hoping that save wasn't wasted tonight.

Read all the thoughts from Monday's show and agreed with most all. :-)

As to the one time "save" tonight...sorry, I think it was wasted and Simon had it right that Matt is most likely not going to win anyway.

IMHO, Lil...who I do enjoy and I LOVE her, did not have that good a performance on Tues. that some of the others did and I figured she was gone and should have been as far as I am concerned.

ITA DM...if Matt's not out next week, then he will be the one after that.

Danny, Adam and Allison I think are the top three, BUT Kris could be the dark horse and do pretty well..maybe win.

I guess the judges are thinking that Danny, Allison and Adam will never be in the bottom three again before the "save" time runs out..but then again, Allison was in the bottom once. Hmmm? I did feel relief for Matt though...he was sure happy he didnt' have to go home. I wasn't expecting it to be Matt going home, but Lil.

Using the 'save' for matt was a surprise last night. But he was so happy that it made it hard to resent the 'save' being wasted on him? LOL!!! Since there was only this week and next week left to use the 'save' and most likely the bottom two will be Lil and Matt again, with the way things are going, they could be eliminated next week together?? It would be easier to not have to leave alone??
That said next week could be a really big shocker with who could accidentally be eliminated along with the bottom vote getter?? you never know.

Adam is being compared to a young Elvis, with good reason. He is very talented and I think will go far in the entertainment industry. but I have to wonder is he really American Idol material?? He seems way to polished and expierenced? Don't get me wrong I love watching him perform but Danny, Kris, and Allison seem more like what American Idol is all about??
I don't want to come off as having sour grapes about Adam because I really like him it's just that it seems like he doesn't belong in the group somehow??

My biggest fear is that next week, Allison or Danny will be in the bottom 2 and have to go home. I certainly hope not, but Allison has been in the bottom 3 a couple of times. All it takes is lackluster voting and people just "assuming" they will get through to put someone well-deserving at the bottom. Let's hope America gets it right next week.

pjp..I see what you mean about Adam. I like him too..but would be just as happy with Allison or Danny winning it.

Adam will have a career and be signed to a contract no matter what. He's got what it takes to make it in the music industry, hands down in my opinion. I too, would love to see Danny or Allison win. They are more the AI type and would have had less of a chance of making it than Adam would have without AI.
