Matt in the bottom three was a surprise. Mike leaving was not. I liked Mike but I knew the judges wouldn't save him because not long ago didn't Simon tell him that there was no way he would win?? I kind of remember Simon saying that to him. but he will be on the tour so it's not really all over for him.

Yeah..Scott and Michael being in the bottom three..I expected. But I didn't expect Matt. I figured it would be Megan. Michael took the loss like a gentleman. He was rooting for everyone..it's like he expected to be the one to go home. As he said the other day...I think maybe it was last night..or last week, he said he's in the top 10, which is such an honor. He's ok with it. He's a good sport. Not a sore loser. Actually his voice is pretty good..he's just sort of forgettable..but perhaps this will give him the exposure he needs and he'll find his niche soon. I wish him the best.

To say I was surprised that MATT was in the bottom 3 would be an understatement. WHY? HOW? I still can't wrap my head around that. And then when Ryan had to send one of them back, MATT was still in the bottom?! Unbelievable!

Ya know, it sort of reminds me of when Ruben Studdard was in the bottom 2 and when Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson and Latoya ended up in the bottom 3... Maybe people think they are safe and feel no need to call in the vote. When I do call, I usually focus just on my absolute fave...like Adam, but I actually called in for Matt and Alison too last night...

At the end of the day I'm very happy things turned out like they did and like someone else mentioned earlier, Michael was a good sport about it..and he has a few things to look forward to so, he still won in a way.

Also, I didn't understand the deliberating at the end..I felt the choice was crystal clear..Mike should go home..

I figured Michael would be bottom 3 and not surprised that he would be the one to go tonight. Was not surprised that Matt was bottom 3, even though he's a really good singer...just not sure he has overall audience appeal for staying power, but we'll see.

A little surprised that Scott was in the bottom 3...as I thought it might be Megan, too DM.

Didn't get to post last night, but I have to say that Adam was awesome! What a chameleon he was and very smart on his part to absorb the era and change his whole persona. I totally agreed with Simon that the kid has star power. He's different and probably the most unique talent we've seen in some time.

Adam jumped to my second fav now, but it's gonna be hard for anyone to knock out Danny as MY top Dawg...lol.
