Izzie/George/Callie

I'm really surprised at what the writers have done with Izzie and George this season. Last year, even through all the Denny stuff, Izzie was one of my favorites. George, too. This year, I can barely stand her and I want to wring George's neck. I'm sure that Callie will have to find out what happened before the end of the season.

Now it looks like Derek is heading for jerkdom as well. Will he really lay the blame on Mer if he isn't chosen for Chief? (But, really? I don't think the Chief will leave.)

Gizzie went a long way to explaining why Izzy was so hateful to both Meredith and Callie after they hooked up with George -- she wanted George for herself and didn't consciously know it!

And it explains why George let Izzy get away with murder when she was disrespecting George and Callie.

It explains so much that it almost seems like Shonda was planning Gizzie for a long time!

But then I think back and remember Denny, and opportunities Izzy had with George but didn't take, and George's Mer lust, and I have to admit I don't completely buy that this was a planned ship.

And I'm not sure where Gizzie can go, because if they hooked up right now, it WOULD be perfect (they already know each other well, they already accept they love each other, etc). Their only obstacle is Callie, and I bet she's leaving this season. So it'll be interesting to see what Shonda has in mind.

(But personally, Gizzie's shot up to my favorite couple on the show. I freakin HATE Derek right now! And Christina/Burke is hardly engaging. I like both Izzy and George, and want to see how this works out.)

I think Izzy and George would be a cute couple and the sex wasnt bad like Izzy said they both felt something...George doesn't love Callie he was depressed and missed his father...plus she was like the last girl that his father met and approved of. George know about Izzy's daughter and didn't judge her but instead was there for her..which I loved.
Plus Callie can do sooooooo much better. I loved her charcter in the beginning as a strong Latina who didn't care what people thought now she's all weak can't control her residents she can she's just not yelling or whatever she need to do to make them respect her! When George found out that she had money (comes from a rich familia/heiress) he pulled back
Callie needs to bring in back that attitude she once had...rich girls have the I don't care attitude so where is hers????

ITA!!! callie can do SOOO much better than george!!! I have to admit that while george and izzie are cute together, I like callie more. I just don't see george and callie getting together. I think they BOTH were crushing and rushed into marriage after his father's death. neither one of them should be married, especially to each other!!! IMHO, george needs some time ALONE to mourn his father!!!

when she felt like she had to hide her money from george, callie SHOULD have gotten a clue!!! if she can't be herself with him, he's NOT the right man for her.

personally, I would have rather seen callie in "private practice". addison is too connected to everyone on grey's. having addison in seatle makes sense. letting callie cut her loses makes sense. I just can't see that FUN, strong, interesting heiress that was secretly living in the basement of the hospital rolling over and playing dead for anyone!!!

I think they made a big mistake putting Izzy and George together. They don't mesh well as a couple (obviously all they can think of is sex). Callie was PERFECT for George. I just hate what they have done to them.
WHY OH WHY did they ruin Mer and Dreamy??? I was so happy they FINALLY got back together only to tear them apart again. Hopefully he does NOT NOT NOT make moves with her sister and they can patch up their relationship.

This show has lost its edge.
Breaking up Merdreamy is a BIG mistake, after the fans wanting it for so long.

I have no idea what they've done with George/Izzy& Callie but NONE of it works for me. Since when did Izzy fall in love with George when she was so heartbroken over losing Denny (and rightfully so)??? I'm just not buying any of this nonsense (by the way, there is ZERO chemistry between Gizzie) and frankly, I'm losing interest.....fast!

I just had to watch the episode again, it was intense. I so respect Callie for not make a show of this situation. Izzy is all about drama and so self centered she never even thought about the vows George and Callie made to each other. I do agree that Callie can do so much better than him and is a strong hispanic woman that knows she doesn't have to "fight" to keep a man. If you have to "fight" they aren't worth it. I loved the fact that she told Izzy what she had to say just the two of them, no audience like Izzy needs.

As for Meridith, she's also getting on my nerves, I understand she has issue but please what does McDreamy have to do or prove in order for her to get it.
I look forward to next weeks episode, it looks like it will be quite hot!

I know Adel has been through a lot but how can she blame her husband for her niece's cancer and her decision. He gave her love and respect and you have to applaud him even though it did break your heart watching him let her go.

I'm loving callie more and more!!! ITA about izzy's need for attention. I think george's marrying callie was more about mourning the loss of his father and less about love. now that his head is clearing, he's scared because he rushed into things WAY too fast!!! everytime I seem callie with george, I hear (in my head), "george is her mcdreamy!!!" I wonder if the george/callie thing has had any impact on the mer/derrick thing. just a thought.

Oh I was SO mad at Adel for laying the blame on him like that. She is so selfish. He is better off without her and it sucks saying that because I was pulling for them
