I attended a luncheon at the National Press Club where Sam Waterston was the guest speaker. Sam spoke on Unity '08 (www.unity08.com) and engaged in a Q&A session. He looks nice and sexy in person with a smile that does things to ya . I asked if there would be an 18th season for L&O and he stated he did not know. The issue holding up renewal appears to be money. Here's hoping Wolf and NBC can reach an agreement.

To my understanding the show has been picked up for an 18th season. As you may know by now, Fred Thompson will not be on the show as he is pursuing his political career.
