The reality contest for the funny bone returns for a fifth season with an all-new quest: to find the funniest guy or gal on the planet. In tonight's two-hour opener, new talent scouts Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan — each an alum from the series — set forth on a global star search for the next ace stand-up comic. Their journey begins in the Big Apple, then advances to Montreal and San Antonio. The winner ultimately cops $250,000, a talent contract with NBC and a comedy special on Bravo. Bill Bellamy serves as the new host.
