I hope that link works. But anyway, I want to ask this question....where do you think the O6 got those clothes from? And who took that picture? I think Oceanic is apart of the cover up. When you think about it makes sense. Espcially the press confrence. How do the O6 know what island they drafted to and from? Someone other than them had to come up with that bogus story of them being found in the Sunda trench, which is in the Indian Ocean instead of the S. Pacific(by the way I'm surprised that nobody at the press confrence asked that question). So what do you think...could Oceanic be apart of the coverup?
Of course the O6 are participating in a cover up.
That much is obvious.
We just don't know why yet.
In the very first flash forward we saw, Jack told Kate he was tired of lying.
I think Hurley is back in the psyche ward because he is tired of lying.
Kate will be the hardest one to convince that "they need to go back" because she feels protective of Aaron.
I think it might take a visit from Claire to persuade Kate to join the rest in their return.

A bigger question I've run across is why the reporters didn't ask how the Oceanic airliner got so off course. I think we'll run into that more next season, from what I've read.
The question I have is are they behind the coverup or just going along with it. Was the wreckage we saw being found earlier this season real or was it staged? If it was staged, who staged it and how? Whoever would stage such a thing would have to be very powerful and rich and may also be someone who would own the airline. Widmore and Ben, of course, are the candidates for staging the wreckage. I see no reason for Oceanic to stage the wreckage on their own, but whoever staged the wreckage would have some serious explaining to do after telling people that everyone was dead and then having 6 survivors pop up. Why didn't the reporters ask about that? If these people survived, how were all of the bodies accounted for in the wreckage?
If these people survived, how were all of the bodies accounted for in the wreckage?
That is the real question. And reporters would have been jumping all over it. The writers really botched it here.
I figured that they only showed part of the wreckage in the video.....but I dont really remember if they showed everything or not....so if they didnt the survivors could easily say they were part of the plane that broke off and landed else where.
As far as the lying... I also assumed that the 6 were let go and told if they told of the island that the rest would be killed.
But those are just my assumptions and Im usually way off when it comes to LOST. lol....
Didn't Penny's dad stage the wreck? I thought he made a comment to someone about digging up graves in Thailand or somewhere to put in the plane that was 'discovered'. No idea as to why but I thought we knew who.

Tom told Michael that Widmore (Penny's dad) had staged the wreck and he did show him a picture of dug up graves, but then someone had said that Ben had staged it. I can't remember if it was the freighter captain that said that or who right now. Someone is obviously lying. It could be that one of them staged it or there could be a different explanation altogether yet!
If any of you have the time before the finale tonight and want some sneak peeks, go to http://www.thetailsection.com/lost-videos/video-clips-from-tonights-seas.php They have some clips from tonight's show. They aren't too revealing, but still interesting, especially the one with Jack and Locke.
Ah, OK, I totally missed the comment that it may have been Ben. Now that you said it, it does sort of ring a bell, but that could be because Ben is always on my suspect list. Thanks. I can't wait for tonight... only a couple of hours to go.

I think it was ben, and that he is blaming widmore. I thought it was just WAY too convenient for tom to have all of the documents and photos right there when michael needed convincing. if widmore HAD done it, it would have taken ben a LONG time to gather all of the evidence. then again, it IS ben. lol

Thats a good one too thor. why haven't they asked that question. i bet that was already asked at another press confrence after the stagged plane was found.

by the way i think the person who is behind the staged plane is widmore. he is the only one who has alot of money and resources to stage that plane. plus how in the world did he(or whoever) find those many bodies to put into that plane?
I missed where someone on the show saying it was ben too!

tom told michael that widmore had dug up a graveyard in thailand to get the bodies for the staged plane. he had a photo of the unearthed open graves.
I still think ben's people were behind it. I think ben has more resources than we know of. miles was pretty confident that ben could come up with 3 million in a short period of time.
What is up with that deal Miles tried to strike with Ben.
From what we now know, Miles could NEVER have kept Keamy & Company from coming for Ben.
That was a red herring from the writers, if you ask me.
I don't think they have a clue in the world what they are doing with Miles.
And hey, I guess Dan and those people in the raft are toast since there is no boat to go to and no island to go back to.
Shame, I liked Faraday.

I think miles is going to be more significant. the fact that he is a ghost whisperer of sorts make me think that he can communicate between planes of existence. I think that will become key when they go back to the island again.
as for faraday, I'll bet some of the "red shirts" on his boat help pull in survivors from the explosion, including jin. I think that michael IS dead, but I think jin survived. I can see the locke led "others" fishing the survivors out and bringing them back to the island, but I doubt we'll see ANYTHING island related in the first half of the season next year!!!
Jack, Kate and those on the raft washed ashore in the clothes they were in when they got on the helicopter. The clothes they were in on the airplane were obviously obtained on that island, the one where the people were wearing the pointy little hats.
Locke told Jack that they had to lie to protect the island.
The cover up isn't with Oceanic.
It's between the five of them, to keep the island safe, presumably from Widmore.
I like the idea that Faraday pulls Jin from the boat wreckage.
It's official that Michael is dead, but I'm still rooting for Jin to be alive.

true, but the captain of the freighter showed sayid and des papers that it was ben who staged it. so we don't know who actually staged it. but i still say it was widmore.
Not knowing the dynamic between Ben and Widmore, it's hard to figure out who staged the crash.
If you believe that Widmore is the money behind Dharma and Ben took that away from him, then really it's more plausible that Ben staged the fake crash, to keep people from looking for survivors. And people like Ana Lucia's cop mother would definitely have been looking.
I'm wondering if Ben knows about the Desmond/Widmore connection.
It almost seems like he doesn't.
