Wow, this season sure has been lackluster hasn't it? No one seems to be very excited about what's going on, at least not excited enough to post about it.
Okay, I admit it. Curiousity got the better of me, I checked in to see who was voted off and then had to go back to find out how Jason ended up with an idol.
Did anyone else want to throw up listening to Natalie go on and on about how ruthless she was and how it was the real her and how much she was loving being so evil? She really did make me sick. I have to admit that these women have done what I didn't think someone could do, they've made me like Amanda!
Right now I just want some miracle to happen so that Natalie, Parvati and Cirie are the next to go. If only Amanda could get into someone's head and get them to see how untrustworthy Cirie and Parvati are before James and Erik are gone.
I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but at this point I hope for a James - Erik - Amanda final 3. I'd like to know who Parvati thinks is going to vote for her on the jury at this point. I loved James talking back to Parv.
I thought it was funny the way they kept going back and forth between Natalie talking about how evil women are and the huge spider spinning it's web. She did make me think of a black widow. Pity the guy who ends up with her.

I can't believe Amanda and James didn't go to Jason and tell him to play the idol. Then those three and Erik could have voted for Natalie (or Parvati) and ousted one of them. They would have had the final four pretty much wrapped up. Why didn't they do that?

Amanda might feel safe in sticking with the girls because once James and Erik are gone, she's the strongest one left and she maybe thinks she can win the immunity, but that's a big risk. If she wouldn't win immunity, she'd be gone!

I think they didn't tell Jason to play the idol because they knew that he totally trusts Natalie and it might backfire on them and then James would be the one going home. I like how you're thinking but I couldn't figure out a way to make sure that Jason didn't backstab them and then it would be James going home. He probably would have thought they were tricking him and even if he played the idol I don't think he'd have voted with them and it still would have been James going.
I think Amanda feels trapped right now. She doesn't want to go with the ladies, but she knows that they have the numbers right now and she feels like she doesn't have a choice if she doesn't want to be a target. I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out how they can turn this one around and the only thing I can think of is if they can possibly get inside someone's head and make them doubt their alliance. But the only hope they have of doing that I think is Cirie, because Parv has the relationship built up with the girls from the fans after being with them during the split. Unless they could convince maybe Alexis that Parvati has something going on in the background with her first alliance and that Alexis will be out unless she goes with them. But it's gonna be hard.
I HATE the turn this game has taken. I hate that someone low down and nasty is probably going to walk with the million. ugh

That's a good point, but it was still worth a try. If things stay the way they are, James and Erik will be next to go, anyway. I actually think they'd have a better shot at converting Parvati back to their side than Cirie. There's no way Cirie will want to leave the strong in to compete agains them. Alexis is another possibility, but I don't really see her flipping, either.

It's possible the producers might throw a wrench in there to change the way things are going. It seems to me they've done it in the past when a group is so confident about their position. I don't know what it would be at this point, other than having a challenge that really favors James and Erik. I guess one way they've done it in the past is when they've had a challenge that ends up showing the people the pecking order. Then whoever is 4th in that group would realize they have to switch sides before it's too late.

I guess I am in the minority because I am enjoying the show. Although I found Pavarti and Natalie's comments about how they are ruthless, they are like black widows, and will take the men out one by one to be annoying and very cocky - they are doing just that and the guys are making it easy.

I would like to see James in the final but I would not be upset if Cirie was there as well. Cirie has been very manipulative and has managed to get rid of anyone she felt was a threat to her. She is just going on her marry way outwitting and outplaying everyone but when will they get a clue because she has done it so many times. Pavarti actually irks me more than Cirie for some reason – maybe it’s the fact that she also tries to use her feminine ways. Natalie needs to watch it because she is getting too confident and cocky and that may be her downfall. For some reason I think the favorites (Cirie and Pavarti) still do not want to see a fan win.

Personally I would rather see someone win who plays an honest game and gets through by winning challenges as opposed to someone who constantly stabs people in the back but I can not wait to see what will happen next. I think this jury will be one of the most bitter especially due to some of the ruthless moves. James and Amanda are more or less trapped and the only thing that will save them is if the ladies’ alliance starts to fall apart and they turn on each other.

I agree. I think this has been one of the best seasons. It's had more blindsides than usual, so it's made for good TV.

I've always been one that likes to see someone who is good at the competitions win. I think that's a big part of the game, but we've seen so many times that it's someone who is just along for the ride win.

Ozzy apparently is still pretty ticked. I'm assuming he flipped everyone the bird last night as he walked in. They had his hand blurred. I didn't imagine that, did I? Did everyone else see it?

I'm glad someone is enjoying it. lol
I love reality tv. But I get too involved. Can you tell by my posts? I really do have a life outside reality tv! lol I thought Ozzy should have won the first time he was on and he was really my only true favorite this season, there's others that are okay, but he was my only real favorite, and I so wanted to see him actually win the million this time around.
I hate it when the liars win. And I agree about Parvati and her using her flirting etc... I totally can't stand her! I hate it when the women get ahead using that as well. My kids all laugh at me because they say I don't like the women and I usually don't, because they usually act like Parvati and Natalie. Make me want to vomit!
I know it's really hard to play this game with total honesty but people who just lie and manipulate all over the place and have no loyalties just irk me.
I'll have to go back and check my dvr to see about Ozzy's hand. I didn't notice. But then again I wasn't really watching, I was only partly listening to see who got voted off.

LOL!

I've always been one that would like to see a person dominant in the challenges rewarded for that. I think that's a big part of the game, especially early on when they are carrying their teams. I wanted Colby to win because he absolutely dominated the challenges. Same with Ozzy, but maybe to a lesser degree. Some of the lying and manipulating, I'm OK with because I see it as just a game and that's a part of it, but I hate it when someone does nothing at the challenges, but they get the strong ones out because they can't compete with them.

My take on Parvati is a bit different (probably because I'm a guy!). She definitely has a sexiness about her, so I can see why the men fall for her. They should be smart enough to see that she's playing them, though, and if they don't, it's their fault. I don't like it, though, when someone gets someone to fall in love with them as part of their strategy and then just toss them aside. I think we've seen that more in shows like "Big Brother" than in "Survivor", but it happens. Lying and manipulating as part of the game is one thing, but doing it in a way that will hurt someone for real is different.

I've enjoyed the blindsides, but I just hate the lying. I guess I can't have it both ways, though, huh? lol :p

I always want someone that wins challenges and dominates to win the whole thing, but (rightly so) they are usually kicked off early because they ARE such a big threat. since ozzy isn't going to win, I'm going to cheer for james or erik or jason. lol, I guess I see the girls as the schemers and the men as the workhorses this season.

I agree that I like to see the person who is dominant in the game win. I really wanted Colby to win as well and if I had been in that game I would have voted for him because he brought Tina to the final two with him just like he said he would. I also think that some lying and manipulating are part of the game, but honor goes a long way with me and I'll take the person who has some integrity any day over someone like Cirie. That's why I think they should have voted for Colby over Tina. Don't get me wrong, I like Tina, but really all she did is make a smart move by aligning herself with Colby. lol
I thought Ozzy should win last time and really wanted to see him win this time. I think that's one of the reasons it ruined the show so much for me when he left. I literally feel deflated every time I think of it.
I don't get the whole Parvati as sexy thing. ugh! The way she uses her "sexiness" is one of the things that makes her so unattractive to me. I know, I'm a woman and probably see it differently, but my son and his friends felt the same way about her when they watched the show a few times, they didn't get it. My son actually thought it was laughable that she thought she was attractive enough to use the game plan. So I feel like I'm not totally off base on my perception of her. But then again, beauty is in the eye of beholder and all that. :-)
I really wanted to throw up when she looked at James and said, "Yeah, you wouldn't give me credit for having a plan anyway." Hello? Her whole plan from the beginning on both seasons she's been on was to flirt her way to the top, she plays the brainless, bouncy flirt and then is offended that someone doesn't think she has a brain?! In my opinion you don't get to have it both ways. If she's going to portray herself as a mindless bimbo then she shouldn't play insulted when people perceive her to be that. I loved how James called her out on everything she tried to say to him!
I also agree on the fact that they should be able to see that she's playing them, especially in this game. That's why I was upset with Ozzy to begin with because I felt that his little thing with Amanda was going to distract him from the game and I think it did play a part in his not being up on his game.
At this point I don't know who to hope for in the final 3 anymore. I hate to see Cirie and Parvati get rewarded for their betrayals of their alliance, but I think it would make me physically ill to see Natalie there as well. If it were up to me I'd make a final two and have Amanda and Erik there with Amanda winning. But then again, they never ask my opinion about how they should run the show! lol go figure.
