I really like Marilu and I was rooting for her but she made most of the major decisions. What I don't get is why Carol did not know about the payment method since she worked there for 5 years or why Marilu did not bring her back instead of Piers. I wonder if she bought Piers back because they both felt Lennox was under productive during the first part of the challenge but that is not why they lost. I wanted the other team to lose because I want Omarosa gone. What cracks me up about her is that she truly believes that Trump likes her - LOL :p
I can understand why he fired her and it was because she just continued to do "nervous talking" and didn't let the viewers say anything and the 'ladder' that the group picked isn't something that everyone is going to want or need. I'd think that more people would be interested in a vac that could suck up nuts/bolts and was priced at under $12 a month for a few months. As to Carol Alt, I can't believe that she didn't know about 'Easy Pay' unless what she sold on the show wasn't expensive enough to justify it. I doubt she usually shops on the show so I'd cut her some slack.
I have to say that I've found both Piers and Omarosa obnoxious! They fight like 5 year olds on the playground but obviously Trump thinks they bring in ratings so he's keeping them. I don't respect Piers for the stunt he pulled sending Vinnie to the women's team as a spy. I didn't respect Vinnie for doing it but felt he tried to fix it when he told Marilu. The men on Piers' team, especially Baldwin who claims to be a Christian with those values certainly didn't act it from what I've seen. He could have chosen to toss the note out but he didn't and he enjoyed rubbing it in the women's faces. Piers enjoyed hurting the women and threw Vinnie to the wolves so for that alone, I'd dump him.
I think Trump should have kept Omarosa and Piers on the same team- they all deserved each other except for Carol who should have been allowed to be on the other team. It would have been funny to see Lennox, Omarosa and Piers have to work together and have a challenge that didn't let them use their "friends" for purchases.
Am I missing something or were most of the 'challenges' up until the QVC one, based on how many wealthy friends you had that you could hit up for money rather than ability to do the challenges with regular people? I'm referring to when they were calling up friends and asking them for donations (one was $10,000- not the kind of friends most people have). I'd have preferred that they had to do the money-making without their friends' help.
ok 5 years and you didn't know - that is so hard to believe. And yah, the continous chatter made for an easier target.
Omrosa has to go...ugh i hated to see her glout.
Just rewatched to see and both Marilu and Carol stated that they had been on QVC before. Carol said, "We've both been on QVC." and she also said that she had done the show for 5 years. Later, Marilu said she was also familar with the working of the show and "Every time I write a book, I'm on QVC selling it."
With those two statements, they both should have known about EZpay. Marilu deserved what she got for all the chatting and for not asking for the EZpay option.
Stephen asked the QVC rep (the show said that both teams were assigned a rep but we only saw the winning team's meeting), if they had any type of way to reduce the cost with smaller payments. The rep said that they had EZpay and briefly explained it. Stephen asked about the most they could do and was told 5 payments was the most they ever did and Stephen grabbed it.

I'm late, I know, but here are my thoughts...Firing Marilu was the right choice as far as I'm concerned.
I called QVC ( yes..I really did ) and I spoke with a Customer Service Supervisor. I asked her how long had EZPay been available to customers.
In doing this, I wanted to give Carol and Marilu the benefit of the doubt of actually not knowing about EZPay. The supervisor informed she has been with QVC for 20 years ( Hell, I didn't even know QVC had been around that long) and as long as she's been there, EZPay has been available.
Ok, so now we know, but, that doesn't mean you can sell items like a book on ezpay or cosmetics, certain items that have a lower price value or something like that. I bought my sandwich maker and in house grill on ezpay about a 1- 1/2 years ago. Both items over $50.00 each. But like all of you have said...it's hard to believe they did not know about ezpay.
Trace Adkins did a great job and if they had lost I was going to blame it on Stephen for not letting Trace do a run through first. Fortunately all went well and they deserved to win.
