1. Do you have any phobias? Do you do anything unusual to avoid them?
You've got to be kidding. LOL!

2. Do you have any superstitions?
A million of them! I knock on wood. I won't put a hat on the bed. I spit three times to avoid any bad juju someone puts out there. I always get on a plane with my right foot. I could go on.

3. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
Agent 86. Hands down!

4. What is the unluckiest thing that has happened to you?
Lots of unlucky things, but life goes on and you just have to go on with it.

5. Do you buy into any old wivesí tales or urban legends? Which ones?
I still think that if you sleep with the moon shining on you you will go insane. Does that count?

Weekend plans?
Hoping to see some of the friends I missed while I was away.

1. Do you have any phobias? Do you do anything unusual to avoid them?
Acrophobia, fear of heights. Although, I'm much better now than I was as a kid, I still can't handle certain things. I was in Las Vegas in November on the top floor of the Bellagio. The window went from the ceiling to the floor and I could not stand anywhere near it. I'm also afraid of bridges. Mostly because they are high and often over water. Yikes! I will go an alternate route if there is one to avoid a bridge.

2. Do you have any superstitions?
I throw salt over my shoulder if I spill it. And I always knock on wood when I don't want my luck to turn bad.

3. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
Once at a casino, I had 6 quarters so I put them in a slot machine. On the second spin I hit 2 double diamonds and a 7 and won $800. Then, while I was waiting for my friend, I sat down at a $1 machine and put in $1 and won $300 more.

4. What is the unluckiest thing that has happened to you?
I call them more missed opportunities than bad luck. Seems like I'm often at the wrong place at the wrong time, or I leave too early and miss something fun.

5. Do you buy into any old wives’ tales or urban legends? Which ones?
I do believe that people get weird during a full moon.

Weekend plans?
Drum roll.... I finally have a weekend to myself where I'm doing what I want to do and not having to take care of anyone or anything other than myself and my cats. Okay, I will clean house too. But, this is the first weekend since Larry died that I'll have it all to myself. And, I'm taking Monday off for my birthday too. I'm just bummed as it's going to rain most of the weekend since I wanted to work in the yard.

1. Do you have any phobias? Do you do anything unusual to avoid them?
Spiders.
By "avoid" do you mean the spiders or the phobia? I try to avoid the phobia by reading about spiders and all the good that they do. No I admire them and protect them -- and try to avoid them like the plague if they are in my space.

2. Do you have any superstitions?
Yes, but they cancel each other out.

3. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
Meeting Annie. No doubt, no questioning it. That's it.

4. What is the unluckiest thing that has happened to you?
I'm superstitious that if I think about being unlucky too much, then it will happen. No answer!

5. Do you buy into any old wives’ tales or urban legends? Which ones?
Still have this automatic belief that all persons-of-the-cloth are good in their hearts. No matter how many times it is disproved, my heart still assumes that their hearts are good. Talk about your old wives urban legend.
Otherwise: Between Wikipedia and Snopes.com, they're pretty much cleaned out.

Weekend plans?
Visit Mom at A.L., then chili beans and Netflix.

It does my heart good to read about people with good love stories.
I'm glad Agent and Mike got lucky with 86 and Annie.
Wishing both of you many more years with your lucky charms.

How do your superstitions cancel each other out?

I am often surprised at how many people grew up learning that "salt over your shoulder" thing.
It seems to be prevalent in many different ethnic cultures.
And superstition seems to be something you learn growing up.
I still pick up pennies and say "penny, penny bring me luck, for it was I who picked you up".
I still think money is coming if my palm gets itchy.
And the weirdest of all, bird droppings on you or your car is good luck.

Forget the bird droppings. My friend had bird droppings on her car door and she nearly died of shugatoxin II infection. From the bird droppings. Took her nearly a year to recover. THAT is my new phobia.

I still toss the salt over my shoulder too.
