Of all the things that are upsetting about Trump's campaign and on forward to present...are not just the lies, the bully tactics, the egomaniacal attitude, name calling and so on...

It's the attacks by Trump on the free press to discredit them ALL (except for FoxNews, Rush, etc., those who likewise media willing to praise him) as "fake news" that is most concerning. I guess it's not a big surprise that he's doing this as he found early on that attacking those who ran against him garnered him a large base of supporters who didn't care what he said or did. Again, paraphrasing Trump: "I could stand in the middle of 5th Ave and shoot someone and I wouldn't lose any votes".

By Trump's assault on the free press he is jeopardizing the very fundamentals of democracy and I agree with what McCain said today:
