View Full Version : Jill Stein on Betsy Devos confirmation

This is the kind of "liberal" I hate. The kind that disregards the effect of religion on Republican politics, including the fact that Republicans don't give a shit over who's donating to them. Meanwhile she will pick apart the donors to Clinton, Schumer, Booker, etc.
She probably also thought the Democrats could somehow get more Republicans to budge than the two that did. Jill Stein and the Greens are about as bad as those people that tell the Democrats to play nice, or post memes about how Trump Voter Tommy and Clinton Voter Sally can still be friends because they're "adults".

What the heck is she talking about? All 48 Dems voted against Devos, plus some held an all night session to speak against her. Really, without that 3rd Rep there was nothing else to do. Time for Jill to just go away she can't find some way to be constructive.

My theory is she probably believed the Democrats should have done more or better, but didn't. And then came her usual anti-corporate rant and ignore the Republicans that Devos has in her pocket.

Come to think of it, I don't see much about her stances on religion, reproductive rights/sexual morality, and guns. Those issues need to be addressed if one is to be a serious candidate for President, let alone a major party.
