1. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
I would say both. We all have emotions and deal with them in different ways. I'm a crier, I cry when I'm happy and sad.

2. If you could teach anything, what would you teach?
I don't know.

3. Who has impressed you lately? Why?
My daughter, she is a great wife and mother. She also finds time to help her dad and I.

4. If you could ask one famous person one question, who would it be
and what would you ask?
Jesus, Why do you love us when so many are capable of such evil.

5. What is a happy moment will you always remember?
The births of my children and grandchildren.

Weekend plans? House cleaning.

1. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
It depends on the circumstance. Strength when you're mourning. Weakness when you're whining.

2. If you could teach anything, what would you teach?
English! The love of writing and the love of reading.

3. Who has impressed you lately? Why?
I haven't been impressed by many people lately. It's sad that I can't think of a single person.

4. If you could ask one famous person one question, who would it be
and what would you ask?
Katie Holmes. What was up with the Scientology and your relationship with Tom Cruise.

5. What is a happy moment will you always remember?
This may sound strange, but I always remember the first time I saw Alice Cooper live! I was 13. It my first concert alone with my friends. I had waited so long for that show and I have a vivid memory of just pure joy at being there. July 31, 1972.

Weekend plans?
I'm going to help out my friends at their estate sale at the big castle again! Such a cool place and so much cool stuff.

If I had a lot of money, I could spend a good bit of it at an estate sale. Especially an estate sale at that very cool castle/mansion. They have some beautiful pieces for sale. Do you ever buy anything when you help out?
Oh wow, I just noticed that the castle itself is for sale.
I would buy that too.

1. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
I agree with the others, it all depends on the circumstances. Often when I cry, it's because of something sentimental or something sweet that tugs at my heart. When things don't go my way or I feel wronged, I just get mad, but rarely cry over it. To me, that would be a sign of weakness.

2. If you could teach anything, what would you teach?
Music. I would love to work with beginning clarinet students. I may actually pursue that.

3. Who has impressed you lately? Why?
My best friend's husband. He recently took a leave of absence from a very stressful job and he is a totally different man. He was a work-a-holic and always tense. He is now so calm and relaxed. But, since Sharon still works, he gets up and makes her coffee to go and fixes her something for breakfast. If she's coming home for lunch, he has it ready for her and he is now so much fun to be with. I'm just proud of him that he realized how work was his life and that he did something about it. He will return after the first of the year and work for one year then he'll be able to retire.

4. If you could ask one famous person one question, who would it be
and what would you ask?
Sebastien from Il Divo. Will you marry me? Just kidding, he's already married. Oh jeepers! I honestly can't think of anything.

5. What is a happy moment will you always remember?
Wow! So many. But, taking my Grandpa to Dodger Stadium for his very first game. That was the most precious time and seeing his face as we approached the stadium is a priceless memory.

Weekend plans? I'm in Las Vegas for another Il Divo concert tonight with a bunch of my friends. Crazy ladies on the loose. Look out!

I definitely shop! I got a really cool glass vase from there and a Ralph Lauren cashmere shawl sweater that I swear she never wore. I'll be looking for more treasures this weekend.

1. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
Both? Neither? I'm going with neither. It is just what's needed at the moment. It could be a sign of relief. (Am I reading too much into this question? ... Men!)

2. If you could teach anything, what would you teach?
Common sense.

3. Who has impressed you lately? Why?
Oh my. It's a long list that morphs like a murmuration of starlings. Quickly sorting through, right now Hillary Clinton keeps coming to the top. But so do both of the Obamas. Sharon Jones who passed away yesterday comes to the top. Our kids are always impressing me!

4. If you could ask one famous person one question, who would it be
and what would you ask?
Benjamin Franklin. "So; how angry are you guys about all this?"

5. What is a happy moment will you always remember?
Again; a murmuration of thoughts. Easy one: our children's births. But so many others, too. Sitting with my wife as we laugh our asses off at something silly on TV.

Weekend plans?
Sitting with my wife, laughing our asses off at something silly on TV.
