Good Morning everyone.....

Went out last night and picked out a tree! We got it into its stand and will most likely get it decorated through out the week. It was so cold last night I about couldn't stand being out. That wind cut right through ya!
Thomas has had a few nights of basketball practice under his belt...he seems to be liking it so far. On Thursday night they will let them know which team they will be on. Get divided into 4 teams. Kelsey has been working pretty hard. It taking her first road trip on sat night and sunday. Driving to Minneapolis for a concert with a friend. I will be a nervous wreck but she has got to learn how to drive on the highway and get there following the signs. It will be a long one too...6 hours. But this is the area she will be going next year for school so it should be an informative trip. Mind you she won't be alone but I am still freaked out! Thank God for cell phones.
I am also off this sat for my trip...looking forward to going....
Pat and I are planing a trip to the Redlin Art center to get a closer look at his paintings to make our mind up on what we want. There are just so many to choose from. We are mostly looking at the American series. There are 7 and we would likely do 1 big one with a few smaller ones?????? Who knows??
Off to work I go...

Good morning racemom! So you got your christmas tree! Good! And sounds like your daughter is going on her first long distance trip without you! Hang in there I know it will be hard to let go and not worry. She will be fine I'm sure and like you said she has her cell phone right? And your going away too huh? Well have a nice time! :winkq:

Well I'm up early today to get things done. I have to take my cat to my aunt's cause I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Denver and my friend is going with me too. So my aunt is watching my cat tell I get back. Then calling my boss to find out if I even have Thursday off. She hadn't changed the schedule yet so I have to call her and find out. Hopefully I have tomorrow and Friday off. But if not will work half a day tomorrow and then go. Either way I'm going. Any ways going to get some things done around here today and clean things up before tomorrow. Then get my small bag packed for the over night trip etc. Well hope all of you have a nice over the hump day!:blush2ey:

Sheri..glad you got your tree. I love the smell of a real tree..but alas I have an artificial. I might surprize myself and get a real one one of these years. And have fun shopping this weekend..and good luck with the paintings too. Oh Kelsey will be ok, and like you said, she's got to learn sooner or later..directions..etc. And glad Thomas is enjoying his basketball too!! Julie...getting away for overnight..even though it's for a dr. visit, will be nice to get away. Give you and your friend a chance to go out to eat..etc. Let us know how the dr. appt goes too, ok? My day went alright. After work I went to the chiropractor for another adjustment. Went Monday and again today. I don't go back now..till I need to. I also went back and bought wrapping paper, tape...etc...for wrapping Christmas gifts. And stopped and picked something up for Terry and I to eat for supper..barbecue..yum!! So now...I'm gonna hop in the shower..see you all later!

Dragsy sounds like you had a pretty good day after work. Glad you got your self adjusted again. I'm sure you feel better. And enjoyed some good BBQ Too!
