An article at Healio.com (http://www.healio.com/news/online/%7Bf32fc1a5-a541-41b0-9fd7-a4e8d894ab6c%7D/patients-with-systemic-lupus-erythematosus-responded-positively-to-sifalimumab-vs-placebo) reports second-hand that patients with moderate-to-severe Lupus got positive results from treatment with sifalimumab. The measurement was taken in a one-year, phase 2b blind control clinical trial.

Bottom line: 431 patients with same Lupus involvement indexes, random placebo control group: more got better with the drug than without, fewer with the drug stayed the same or got worse, nobody died as a side effect of the drug. (That's better than some others...)

More detail at Healio.com (http://www.healio.com/news/online/%7Bf32fc1a5-a541-41b0-9fd7-a4e8d894ab6c%7D/patients-with-systemic-lupus-erythematosus-responded-positively-to-sifalimumab-vs-placebo).

Unfortunately, no pronunciation guide. Sif-ali-mu-mab? Sih-fali-mum-ab? Where does the accent go?
