MedpageToday has an article posted 12/23/2014 (http://www.medpagetoday.com/Rheumatology/Lupus/49277) reporting on studies indicating that even in Lupus patients in remission, arterial hypertension (HPT) is persistent in as much as two-thirds of the SLE population.

While HPT is treatable, it is a particular concern for Lupus Nephritis (LN) patients in need of transplant.
