can I just say, as much as I've hated the last couple of seasons' timing, I'm HATING it this year. I have a REALLY hard time watching things online, and now they have backstories online??? GRRR!!!

Hi. It's not as easy as it seems. There is a writers strike going on. Hopefully it will be over soon.

I heard that they are in the middle of filming the 7th show of the season, so we should be able to get SOME on time.

The first 8 episodes of season 4 are filmed now. The strike might even be over soon, as there are contracts talks between writers and their bosses. Hopefully we'll see all 16 episodes of LOST season 4 starting in February. Or not. This suspense, very film-like isn't it.

if the strike continues into the new year(hopefully it won't:crossfingers:) abc will hold onto the 8 episodes that were already shot and air them until '09.....i know :yikes: and :mad:. i screamed when i read that.

Hi. Happy New Year. The first episode of season 4, you may already know this, is scheduled to air on January 31. There is something new that might change the schedule of Season 4: The Hollywood screenwriters on strike are going to negotiate with their bosses this coming week. The TV show and film directors just struck a labour agreement with the bosses. That deal might be a template for the writers future labour contract. So the strike might end soon. And then the filming of LOST might resume once the writers are not on strike anymore. In this case we might be able to watch all 16 episodes of season 4 without interruption.

also george clooney is helping with the negotions(sp). im so glad cause he is the only one who is trying to pull both sides together. this has to stop. alot of people are out of work because of it. and if it doesn't end soon....the fall season of '08 won't start on time, the summer, and fall movies won't come out either. so enough is enough. im on the writers side, but this has to stop.
