I was so shocked and disappointed!! It's just l like when Chris Daughtry was sent home..he was number 4. Bye bye to James..I can't believe it!!! I predicted Scotty and James being the top two. Well..I was sure wrong! You think perhaps Haley got sympathy votes? I mean...she is getting better...just not my fav. I guess now I'll be voting for Scotty. We'll see.

I was very shocked. James was not my favorite in the beginning, but he grew on me over the weeks. I was so hoping for he and Scotty to be in the finale. I'd love to see Scotty win, but if the truth be known, he doesn't need to. He will have a career no matter what.

OMG...I didn't expect James to go tonight, for sure. I'm so bummed for him, but he went out with class and a tear.

It is hard when it gets to this point as they are all good, BUT James I do believe has something special with his talent and I hope that Idol helps promote him and if not...that he does get a chance at a recording contract.

Often, in the past, I've thought that this exposure would be all that some need. It's been true in some cases, but there are plenty of Idol contestants who got so close to the end...or some have even won... who either no one ever hears about them again. Of course, some who haven't won have gone on the better things than the winner of Idol (Hudson, Daughtry, etc).

I just hope that James gets a real chance out of this. He rocks!!! :-)
