Well...each singer had two songs tonight. I had a tougher time picking one fav..cause on some I liked one song they sang..and the other I didn't. But overall, this is what I thought of each.

1) James... His first song was ok...for his style, just not my type of song I like listening to.
His second song..now I loved. He had such emotion in it..I was crying along with him.

2) Jacob...I'm sorry, but I've heard enough of him. I'm not sure what it is..his voice is alright, but he's starting to annoy me. My husband can't stand him. I think it's his style..they are all starting to sound the same...with his foot stomping, dancing, etc. Personally I think he needs to stick to spiritual songs, that to me is his niche.

3) Lauren... She did ok with both her songs tonight. She's not my favorite, but she's good

4) Scotty... I loved his upbeat first song..and his Elvis song for his second choice. He has a great voice, and he has a big fan base out there.

5) Haley... First Lady Ga Ga song...didn't like. Uggh.
Second song...House of the Rising Sun..she nailed it...very good! And btw, she looked lovely tonight.

My guess on the bottom three? Oh gee...that's hard. I do believe Jacob should go home..whether he does or not, who knows. Casey was a surprize last week.

I pretty much agree with your assessments. I'm ready for Jacob to go home, he tends to over-sing every song. James was so terrific with his 2nd song, I really like the emotion he brings to his singing. Lauren, for me, is just "meh"...she's cute, but she seems to run out of breath while singing and she just seems immature. Scotty is great! And I'm not even a country music fan, but he's so cute, such personality and his rich deep voice is really nice to listen to...he's shown he can do music beyond country...I just enjoy watching him, he was having such fun last night.
I'm rooting for Haley, I voted for her last night, her 1st song was just OK, but that 2nd song "House of the Rising Sun" was fantastic! She was really channeling a "Janis Joplin" vibe with that song. She's so pretty, sweet yet sexy and I just really enjoy watching her perform. I'm hoping its Jacob who goes home and not Haley.
