Tonight was songs from the Silver Screen. What a variety tonight. Each performer has their own style it seems..from how they perform to the type of music they choose.
1) Paul..I like Paul, but he's been going downhill. He's not choosing the right type of songs for him, in my opinion. He sang Old Time Rock n Roll..from the movie Risky Business. He just does ballads and folksy type music better. Loved his jacket and pants though...going back to the Porter Wagner style..lol
2). Lauren...She sand "The Climb"..a Miley Cyrus song. It's been done so many times, seems she could have chosen another song. Not original enough for me. She has a good voice, but not my choice to win it
3) Stefano...He sang "End of the Road". He did much better than last week! Good job
4) Scotty...He sand "Cross my Heart"...a George Strait song. He has an amazing voice...country could win it this year.
5) Casey...He sang a Nat King Cole song..love Nat King Cole. And he made it his own. He's so versitile..so different. He got a standing ovation. I love him. He's a good entertainer. Very talented..very good
6). Haley...She sang a Blondie number.."Call me". She had very pretty hair and dress. She did ok, but always seems to scream her songs
7) Jacob...He sang a song from the movie "Pursuit of Happiness". Sang Bridge over Troubled Waters..which is a beautiful emotional song. He has one powerful voice..good job.
8). James...Sang the song "Heavy Metal"..and it definitely was heavy metal. Not my cup of tea..but he does have an amazing voice.
Like I said... such variety. Something for everyone! The bottom three I think might be Paul, Haley ..and gee, not sure, maybe Lauren? Paul and Haley for sure...with one of those going home.
I could be wrong though...Pia got voted off, and that was a shocker.
