Well it looks like we are still looking for a car for Kelsey. They both took the afternoon off to look again. This is porving to be difficult! We are all getting very crabby about it too which isn't good for any of us!
Went and had a meeting about our whole life policies. We found out we do have money to help Kelsey with college if we need it. For right now we want to let the money sit. It is just good to know we have it to use.
It has been raining here all week and will now continue through the weekend too. I won't complain too much because the ground needs it but our road is quickly turning to mush! It needs gravel so bad but nobody wants to or has the extra cash right now..we all think the land owners should do it..the road was bad when they first built it , not enough gravel??
Doing the laundry today, I am behind...poor Pat he had no socks!
Hmmmm, Not too much else going on...just keep on truck'in along!
Dragsy. Glad you are home and happy to hear you had a great time. Looking forward to your emails or posts telling us all about your mini vacation!

Good morning racemom! I am sorry to hear your having problems with the car and also the gravel road! I'm praying soon you will resolve both issues! I also hope you get your laundry caught up not good to run out of socks or anything else for that matter! :p

Well I'm having a very slow start to my day but got up refreshed finally got some rest. I am glad cause I was starting to get concerned! Any ways going walking before the weather turns bad tonight we might get snow or rain depending. So need the time to heal up and get strong right? Still haven't heard from my son my older one. I did finally get another number from his work but when I called it his girl friend yelled "We are sleeping!" And hung up. So I suspect she is making sure my son doesn't get my messages. Which is really sad I think. So later on when I hoped she was at work I left another message on his work phone hopefully he will return my call today. Well take care all got to get busy!:blush2ey:

Hey everyone!! Sheri..best of luck finding Kelsey a car. It's good to know the whole life will help with her college..and perhaps a car too? We have whole life and borrowed against it before. Well...got my shopping done and back home. We bowl tonight though. I hope I do well. I got an email from one of our bowling partners. The team did well without us last week. We are now in third place. We had a couple friends sub for Terry and me. Guess they didn't need us..lol. I am going to post about our trip..in the "I am home" thread. See you there!

Good afternoon racemom and Dragsy! Well finally getting back on here to repost again. Guess who called me back! I was like in shock! My son! Guess I pestered him enough he finally decided he had better get in touch. Well racemom I'm not sure I'm sure part of it is the fact he is hunting and says when he is up there he doesn't get reception but then again I know part of the time he is back at his apartment and can call. So not sure if it is the GF fault or not. But I know she doesn't care for me and hasn't for quite awhile and has made it known to my son that she doesn't want him spending time with his own mom! How rude! I just can't stand her. Wish he would break up with her but it has to be his decision. So for now I'm tolerating the time I do get to spend with him.
He came over and finally checked out my vehicle but the bad news is it will be a long process fixing the problem and now I'm vehicle without cause he messed with the battery cable and I can't drive it! GRRR! So he has to come back later and either fix it or something. Any ways I'm hoping he will find time to fix my problem cause I can't afford to take it to a mechanic. I just don't have the funds with my bills mounting up from my surgery etc. So hope he can help out.

Dragsy I'm glad your bowling tonight hon and I do hope you have a great time! Sounds like you said they didn't miss you to badly last week! LOL But have fun!:blush2ey:

Julie..I'm glad David finally called, but too bad the Jimmy is still not fixed right. Hopefully soon he can get to it. Bowling went ok for me..I did good! Terry didn't though..and we only won 1 game last night.

Glad you bowled so well Dragsy! Yea some times we have bad weeks on Leagues maybe next week will be better! Yep finally my son got in touch but no fixed Jimmy yet. :)
