House Gets...Happy??

So the article says that this season, House is going to be all mellow and happy because he's finally with Cuddy.
Hmm.
Don't we love House because he's so cranky?
Aren't all those "House-isms" that we laugh at, the result of House's cranky,
cynical side?
My guess is that the House/Cuddy relationship is going to be short lived.
The writers will appease all the House/Cuddy shippers for a while,
and then have House and Cuddy mutually agree to end the relationship because it isn't working for either of them.
Time will tell.

A happy House is not a good House. You're right, it's the cranky House that we love, the cranky House that makes the show fun.

I can't see the House/Cuddy lasting for too long. I think like a lot of relationships, they will have an initial first little bit of new relationship greatness before they realize what it is they're into and decide it's better to just be friends.
