My top two were Hilary and Barack.
Mine is scary, a 4 way tie for 2nd.
Mitt Romney 36
Hillary Clinton 33
Rudy Giuliani 33
Barak Obama 33
John Edwards 33
Is it weird that some of the people at the bottom I haven't heard of? There seems to be a lot running this year, I'm almost afraid to see who comes up on our final ballots.

I think it might be a little more frightening that your first two are drastically different! That's what I thought about my first two - Rudy & Mitt? Yea, their morals and beliefs are totally the same. Wow. ;)
Yes that is scary too. I laughed at both though, go figure! Of course their differences were the things I didn't agree with them on. Apparently they don't agree on those things either, lol.
Overwhelmingly Kucinich! 100% agreement. That's food for thought.

It's quite possible that I might just be an idiot since I'm terrible with politics in general :shhh: ...but who in the heck is Kucinich?!
My top two were Hilary and Barack.
At least you're consistent! ;)
About Kucinich: Don't feel bad, not many people know who he is! I remember him from years ago when he bucked the system by taking a principled stand. He's from Cleveland, Ohio. I think he might have been the youngest mayor ever elected as mayor of a major city. While mayor he refused to sell the publically owned electric utility to a private concern in order to settle a relatively small civic debt. Political suicide. He received death threats! He was not re-elected. Years later the people of Cleveland realized that his stand on principle ended up saving them 100s of millions of dollars and he ended up being elected to the Senate. He is the only candidate for president that voted against going into Iraq. His reasons for that decision have since been proven to be correct. He was raised in poverty; he & his family lived in a car for a time. He put himself through college. He was awarded The Ghandi Peace Prize.
He's a good man. Unfortunately, that isn't likely to get him elected. Will that stop me from voting for him? Hell no! I voted for John Anderson and McGovern!
Years ago I decided that I would only vote for people who I felt had the integrity to make just and honorable decisions in spite of pressure. Our opinions on everything didn't have to agree, but I had to know (as much as it is possible) that I could trust this person to do the right thing for the public benefit. I don't care if a man is a lousy husband; I want to know that man will do the right thing by the public. Jack Kennedy being a perfect example...a dog in his sexual indiscretions but by the Grace of God, it was that man who sat with the hawks eager for a kill during the Cuban missle crisis; it was his presence, his unbending belief and intent that it would be resolved peacefully that prevented a horrific outcome to a terrible situation. Same with Churchill. FDR. Eisenhower. Not a decent husband among them, but thank God they were remarkable public servants or we all might be living in a very different world.
So over the years I've gone to the polls, cast my votes for other things on the ballot and did NOT cast a vote for president because I didn't trust the integrity of the candidates.
