How could JT make such a stupid move last night? Why did his tribe let him? Amanda and Candace seemed to be the only ones that thought it would be a wrong move. I never have thought Rupert was very smart, but Colby should know better than to do something like that.

The move was only dumb because we know what's going on and we know it won't work. lol If they were right it would have been a great move.

I do think though that it would've made more sense had the villains outnumbered the heroes. Since they were going in tied in numbers it didn't really make sense to even bother. And since they were only planning to give it to Russell if the heroes won, then they knew they were going in even in numbers.

I wonder if maybe there was more behind it that we didn't get to see, like maybe the guys were thinking that their butts would be on the line if the all girl alliance came into the merge intact. If the guys on the hero tribe are thinking it's an all girl alliance, and knowing that Amanda and Parvati led an all girl alliance in their season, they may have thought they needed to save Russell and get rid of Parvati to save their butts and not allow Amanda and Parvati to get together.

Yes, we do have knowledge they don't, but they did this without knowing what was really going on in the other tribe. Plus, none of them know how Russell plays, so it was even a bigger risk. With everyone else, they kind of have an idea of how they've played before.

With realizing Parvati and Amanda led an all girl alliance before, they should see that this move would still leave them short if it becomes men vs. women. Amanda would bring Candace along and they'd have had Jerri, Sandra, Courtney, and Danielle. In that case, it would make more sense to hang onto the HII for themselves.

It always makes more sense to hang onto the idol for yourself, imo. lol As we've witnessed before.

I think that was my point about the all female alliance. That if they had voted Russell out, the women would have the numbers when the teams merged, which is why they were trying to get Russell on their side and have one less female when the merge happened.

Either way, I get why everyone thinks it's so stupid. I just think that this is a game that can be changed by one bold move, but most of the time people are too scared to make that bold move, so if this had worked, if there really was an all female alliance and they were able to sway Russell and get rid of Parvati at the same time, it would've been one of those genius moves that made history, like they thought. But it won't, so it will go down as one of the stupidest moves ever. And poor JT will be the one who gets the blame for it. Even though they all went along with it. I know the girls said they weren't sure, but I didn't see them speaking up to the other tribe members, so I think they are all equally to blame for that move! lol

I think they went along with it and Amanda, at least, probably has plans to team up with Parvati again. It worked for her before to get rid of everyone else!

Russell giving up the idol to Parvati really could have been a stupid move, too. It SHOULD have been, but Tysom pulled an even more stupid move by not sticking with the plan! Russell would have been gone that night.

I think that russell has a DEFINITE advantage going into this season!!! none of the others had seen his season yet, so they didn't know why this upstart was chosen to be on the villians team. they don't realize that russell is the ultimate puppetmaster, so they play along.

I have to admit that I hope russell wins this season!!! I was shocked that he didn't win last season. he is one of the BEST survivors of all time, and I think that if he is able to pull a win out this time, he will have truly earned the title survivor king!!!

I agree Russell should have won last time. I'm OK with him winning this time, but Colby has always been one of my favorite survivors and he was who I was pulling for, but I think he's soon gone unless he can go on an immunity run. I don't think he has it in him this time around.
