March 10...Guys night.

Ok..don't read any further unless you've seen the show already or just want to read the reviews here cause you didn't have time to see the show. I can't wait any longer!

Well...I am kinda torn on my fav tonight. So here's what I thought:

1) Lee... I love this guy, and love the song, but to me just wasn't the right song choice for his style. He's got a great voice though and looks like he dyed his hair darker..or perhaps it was just the "do"..but he looked nice. He had pretty eyes too. I am not ready to see him leave..he has such great potential..just not my best performance by him

2) Alex...He has a good voice and is getting better each week. He looks more comfortable up there performing. Hope he hangs around a bit longer.

3) Tim...the judges loved him..and he did do better, but still there's something about him? He's just forgettable to me.

4) Andrew..I love him but the version of this song..just didn't do it for me. I do hope he's still around another week though, cause I do like him

5) Casey..he did very well...but not the one I'll remember tonight. And he's so cute...the girls are gonna vote him to stay..but looks are not gonna keep him on forever..so he'd better step it up

6) Aaron...Loved the song. Started off rough but ended better. Not as good as orginal though to me.

7) Todrick...Loved the Queen song "Somebody to Love"..and he made it almost like a gospel song..and then Ellen thought the same as I did. He did amazing!! Very very good. I was wowed.

8) Big Mike...it's a tie between him and Todrick tonight..very very good! Such a performer up there on stage..so comfortable. Just not sure about his high notes? He looked very nice tonight.

My fav three right now are Lee (though song choice was iffy..but I love his voice)... Todrick..what a performance..his own spin on the song, and Big Mike was awesome too!

Who should go home? Hmmm ... maybe Tim or Aaron..or maybe Andrew..but I don't want to see Andrew leave. I feel like he can redeem himself.

Right now though..between the men and women...I'm rooting for Crystal. But I could change my mind.

Got to see the show tonight..never did get to see last week's guys show..lol. Tonight I seemed to be hearing many of the guys in not as good light as the judges seemed to.

1. Lee -- I agree with you, DM he's got a great voice, but the song didn't seem right for him and it sounded a bit off key in the beginning.

2. Alex -- Disagreed w/Randy and thought it was a good song choice for his kinda raspy voice. Alex does seem a bit stiff and inexperienced with performing maybe.

3. Tim -- One of my fav songs and Tim did a very good job with it. Actually, one of the best performances I've seen from him.

4. Andrew -- I love him, too. Has a unique voice, but I guess this I will agree with the judges that he's not been showing that "wow" in performance that he did early on

5. Casey -- He is a cute guy and I'm sure will win him lots of female votes...lol. Although, I didn't like his hair tonight...it looked dirty which I'm sure was not the case. Overall his perfomance tonight to me was no different than one would hear from a stage performer in any bar. Nothing special tonight.

6. Aaron -- Sounded off key to me and all over the place in certain parts. In other parts tho...he had his nice moments.

7. Todrick -- Good song choice for him and a nice performance although I can see what Simon was saying that he may have more Broadway type appeal with his voice style than as a recording artist, but who knows.

8. Mike -- He's my fav of the guys! Mike has a great voice and good stage performance skills. So far, he's hit the mark on every performance I've seen him do.

Tonight, my favs: Mike, Andrew...and i'll give one to Tim (for tonight's only...might not be enough to keep him around tho)

Who might go: Tim (lol) & maybe Aaron

I'm still with you on Crystal. Other than Big Mike I'm not really seeing any of the other guys who might even get close to her as an orginal and unique talent on par with her. Things could change.

Good to see you post Catstrack...since it looks like no one's getting into posting much..not just yet anyway. Overall...with the guys, there's a couple I like..but I keep going back to Lee. Even though I didn't care for his song choice. Liked the song..just didn't seem to be his type. And for the girls..as I said..it's Crystal for sure! Now..I could change my mind..we'll see.

Had to miss Idol both nights...AGAIN! Sheesh! But, I did get home on time last night to see both Todrick and Michael. WOW! Mike blew me away. That was one of the best performances, if not the best, I've seen this year.

I did get to see Crystal's performance on Youtube. She's my pick for the girls so far.

My mom gets home from the hospital on Friday (after 5 weeks) so my schedule should slow down and I should be able to watch the rest of the season now.

So sorry Kris...I'm sure you mentioned your mom before..but my memory isn't so good anymore. What's wrong? I guess you have been keeping very busy. Thought of recording the show? Of course..then when do you have time to watch it, right? Todrick and Michael were the best last night...you are right on that one. Crystal is my fav. girl too. Seems like we are unanimous on that one!

My mom had a toe amputated on Feb 3. She's been in a skilled nursing center since then. I'm so happy she's coming home, now my marathon trips to the center are finished. 3 hours of travel time (1.5 hours each way) gets very old quickly.

And you're right, I can record AI, but I don't have time to watch it. I record my soaps and am lucky to get to them. Life SHOULD, Lord willing, calm down now.

I hope things calm down for you and I"m assuming your mom is doing ok now. Does she live with you, or on her own?

My mom lives on her own. Other than the toe, she's doing really well. I'll be so happy when she's all healed and can get around on her own again.

Glad she's doing well. May I ask...was the amputation from diabetes problems? I'm diabetic..that's why I asked.
